Protein

I'm 3 weeks post op from having gastric sleeve surgery. I've lost a total of 40 pounds, but now I'm becoming malnourished and really could use some advice how do you get enough water and protein when it's hard to force it down my body just doesn't want it?! Advice please and thank you

I'm feeling the same way! I'm 6 days away from 1 month post op and today I made some skirt steak with spinach and I couldn't eat it! The meat didn't taste the same to me and I have been very sensitive to dairy everything makes me go to the bathroom like 3-4 time a day [emoji22]

Sorry to hear that! I do know the feeling, try to keep yourself hydrated keep sipping your water, and protein shake, yogurt, and broth! Unfortunately I had a follow-up appointment today and my DR said to stay away from all dairy for now no milk, no yogurt, cheese etc... For about a WK to see if my bathroom visit calm down! It's pretty annoying cause I want to eat but everything gives me a stomach and the runs! My doc also told me I would need to get a good amount of protein otherwise I will lose weight the wrong way which is muscles and I will age faster!
