    Exercise?! When can we..

Just had my 2 week post op and was cleared for the gym. Just nothing extreme (lifting restrictions and such).

    Nearly three weeks post op

Same, and I'm only 2 weeks out. I'm just... unhappy. Slight rant ahead. I've lost about 12 pounds (Though I fluctuate between 217 and 215 almost daily...) and frustration has already set in because I'm barely eating anything and will still see that 2 pounds disappear and reappear. Had my first post op already. My surgeon (who is awesome, btw) tells me that because I wasn't that big to begin with, my weight will move slower and that I will be under 200 in a couple of months. I know what she says makes sense, but that's just disheartening when I see people lose twice as much in the first 3-4 weeks. I am literally 47lbs from goal weight. (I lost over 60lbs on my own before the OP), so I was really hoping to see more movement on the scale. (She told me to stop looking at the scale. Easier said than done) I'm on soft food, but because of my finicky eating habits and the restrictions of my food choices now, I'm only good for sugar free drinks, diet ice pops, diet Jello, and a can of Soup (various types) stretched out through the day (Trying pureed chili, fruits and sugar free puddings to mix things up now). In other words, my caloric intake is a joke, and still, I'm just stalled. It makes me wonder why I even did this to my body if I'm going to less results than when I was killing myself to lose it on my own. Even worse is that I now take more pills than I did when I had 'weight-related ailments' (Which seem to be gone now, and I'm glad, and yes, taking various supplements is still better than meds, but going from 2 pills daily to 2 chewables and 5 pills still sucks). I guess I just have the blues right now and will need time to get over it. And yes, I'm aware of the support groups. That's really not my thing, though I do plan to go at last once more to see how I feel about it. /Rant over

    Miss Real Food! [emoji23]

My op was June 20th and I'm on a liquid diet until June 30th when I see my surgeon to be advanced (I expect it to go smoothly since I've had no issues with intake). My family loves their fast food, so I'm bombarded with scents (Though, they are considerate and eat in a different room). I want food so much I dreamt about it and woke up chewing, lol. I'm hoping these next 5 days come quickly....

    Ideal size?

I've always liked myself at a size 10/12. I'm about 50lbs from my goal weight and I'm just hoping that my body remembers that my goal weight had me at that size some years ago, lol.

    Crystal Light Post OP?

My surgery was also on Monday, June 20th. I was given CL, too, and it hasn't harmed me at all. In fact, thus far, my taste buds are still 'thinking' the same way and my body, other than getting full fast, really hasn't rejected anything -except MOM. Tried that today and tossed up for the first time since Monday. On a side note, I lost 10lbs since Monday. Wow.

    June Surgery

Hi... I just joined these forums today - Nice to meet everyone! My surgery is tomorrow morning and I'm slightly terrified, lol. I should have joined these boards ages ago, but life has just been really busy. So since I have plenty of time off now, I guess today is as good a day as any. Good luck to the rest of the June club! -Kammy
