I usually had 2 cups of coffee in the morning and maybe a glass of sweet tea sometime during the day. Lynda I have had an organ transplant and will be on prednisone amongst other things forever. According to my surgeon, he thinks the best option is the sleeve and believes there will be less contraindications with the sleeve/steroid combo Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I'm only telling my husband and if I didn't need a driver to and from the hospital, I wouldn't have told him. He is cool with me having the surgery (sleeve). This is a very personal mission to me and there's only room for one person in the saddle. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Kaze- I found your post when I looked up key words kidney failure. My transplant Doctor ( I'm 2 years post transplant) actually is the one that got me started down this path. I've gained about 60 pounds since my transplant. I'm still in the pre op stage, as the bariatric program I am in is so slow. Thank you for sharing your story and I wish you the best!
