  1. Hormones dump very quickly just after surgery, so I was told.... I personally was a perfect weepy and depressed soul at 1 week out. And then again around 6 weeks out. It passes. Put some music on, close your eyes and relax. I got tired of tv too! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  8. It's possible you gained w surgery...I gained 8 pounds in the hospital and was starting from there. So the first week I lost 8 but it looked at the dr as though I stayed the same Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  9. My sister in law gave me a crapload of clothing in mid December. I was amazed and very little fit at the time but.... Today I am able to wear a pair of the jeans she sent! She had surgery a year ago - and told me that I would be the last to notice until my clothes got big. Yesterday I noted a pair of my pants were too big....so today I tried these jeans. I didn't know what was happening but on the evening after my surgery my husband was trying to help me get out of bed and I yelled at him because he wasn't doing it the way the aide had during the day.   13. I'm allowed skim milk so I just use it with my morning coffee. Which I usually only drink about half....I drink caffeinated coffee, sweetened with sweet n low and a little skim milk. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  14. Our Aldi grocery store has several flavor options of low carb (2g net) Protein bars with 10g protein. Tasty too. Although tasted a little sweet. So I ate about 2/3 of the bar and you guessed it, I'm dumping. Back to the drawing board. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  23. I had that. My surgeon calls it "ridging" and said it's Fluid built up and it will dissipate. Mine was nearly gone by my 6 week checkup but was there from week 3 Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
