My program wants me to stop with shakes by now and to get all of my protein from food, so that's why I'm worried about my lack of eating. I get nauseous still and I can only eat a few bites of anything (except yogurt which of course I'm now getting tired of) before I get full, so I'm not coming close to meeting my protein goals right now. I hate catheters and I unfortunately had one! :-( I was asleep while it was inserted, but I could certainly feel it every time that I moved in bed and walked. I begged for it to come out, but I had to wait until the next day until I had enough urine output. I hate getting them taken out, but I was so relieved when it happened! I have Gastroparesis as well and I just had my gastric bypass on 12/12. I did have some nausea for days, but it went away with me sipping more fluids slowly and taking my anti-nausea medication. I was told that I was only able to get the bypass (which I wanted anyway) instead of the sleeve because of my Gastroparesis. I was told that the sleeve was in no way an option for me. And while there was some initial nausea, the bypass should eventually make my Gastroparesis symptoms go away. Sent from my SM-N920P using the BariatricPal App
