Try pintrest they have a whole crap ton of stuff for gastric patients. I'm currently loving egg muffins that have ham peppers and onions. All it is is egg veggie and meat in a cup cake/muffin pan whatever that is called and baked. Delish! Esp if im in a rush.

I have never taken a bariatric specific Vitamin in my life, and here I am 3 years post-op, get my labs drawn regularly and they have always been stellar. Bariatric specific Vitamins are expensive, high calorie, and high carb, and they can bite me.
Look for a vitamin labeled "high potency." For the first six months after surgery, I took a double dose (one in the morning, one at night), then switched to one daily when I was eating more real food.< /p>
The brand I use is Trader Joe's High Potency chewable Multi-Vitamin, because it is the cheapest I have found and it tastes fine. They also make a regular pill (non-chewable) version, but you may find the chewable easier on your stomach (true for all vitamins, not just Trader Joe's).
    Good luck!

Here is another perspective. ...I had sleeve in Dec 2011...took me 14 months to lose 150#. For the first time in my life I am maintaining a normal size for over 3 years now!!! The whole thing with WLS isn't how fast you lose it, it's how long you keep it lost!

I found mashed potatoes to be far too "heavy" for me post-op. If you're looking for that "taste" you can try steaming some cauliflower and then mashing that as you would potatoes. That works great for me. I use cauliflower to sub for potatoes and even rice...

Soups didnt really fill me up. But I would only eat 1/4 the cup here and there until it was finished.

I make my own pizza with either fat head crust or flatout wraps. pizza isn't really my thing but I try to have it every now and then to add variety to my food choices so I don't get bored. I use turkey pepperoni, and chicken Italian sausages. I also use a low carb pizza sauce.

You can also put pizza toppings in a Portobello mushroom and have a no carb version.

I added hot sauce to my refried Beans at two weeks post op. No problems. I was not given any restriction on it. My NUT just told me to go easy at first to see if I had reflux or heartburn issues or any other problems.

Yes to the Ricotta bake! I love it! I used the recipe from eggface and split it into a bunch of small portions. It's been one of my favorites since surgery 4 weeks ago.

Thanks everyone for the advice. I decided to do the 1 oz every 12 minutes and today started at 5:46 am with 4 oz of my Protein and have been able to down 10 oz of Water with lemon. It is much easier this way.

Don't worry. If you loved water pre-op, you will love it again. I had the same fear, because drinking was so hard for the first few weeks post-op. But once the swelling went down and I figured out that my water had to be ice cold (with ice floating in it) I had no trouble drinking as much water as I did before.

I have found that sugar free Popsicles are helpful in that arena.

The hunger is all in your mind. You could of really hurt yourself esp eating crackers. If you feel like you're starving eat some broth, cream of chicken (minus the chicken) Soup with some Protein, or a Protein shake. Youre only 6 days out. It's gonna be hard. But you can do it.

You need to get your mind in the right place to do this and be successful. You are risking significant complications from eating anything not on your plan. Your stomach is being held together with surgical staples and needs time to heal. Please don't continue to risk hurting yourself - not to mention you need to use this time to learn how to eat in order to be successful.
