  1. The term last option for me personally is just being tired to be honest. I'm tired of yo-yo dieting, up & down, battling this weight issue for 10 years etc. I believe it's last option to take control of your life.   3. I also always always said I don't want to do surgery it's the @easy way out ?" "why put your body through surgery "? But then I was really going hard in the gym and got a hernia and couldn't work out as much of course my hernia was due to obesity. I'm 32 & now one of my aunts has diabetes & the other has heart disease they are petite women.   4. I asked him I said what about my liver ? he said he don't see it making a significant difference again he's been doing thee surgeries since the 90's maybe that's why Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  5. My surgeon doesn't do liquid diets. I can eat up until 12am day of surgery anyone else ?? I asked him why & he's been doing bariatric surgery since the 90's he says he doesn't see any significant physical reason he thinks alot of surgeons do it for the mental aspect because some pt's go insane with food funerals he had a girl gain 30lbs obsessing about what she' won't be able to eat Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I also go back and forth but I'm just tired of the up and down, diets, losing the same 20lbs to gain hem back I just need this push I'm also scared but from what I've seen & read most people do go back to a basically normal life & diet after some time just in smaller portions Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  9. I've seen some people only do lab work. My surgeon did ekg, chest X-ray & blood I was initially gonna be sleeved in December he's not making me re-do anything but the blood surgery is 2/16 Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

My surgeon has been doing bariatric surgery since the 90's he started with vsg since it came out I think he said 04 he does it every week & even sleeved the RN at the hospital who did my pat's but my anxiety gets the best of me.
