Yes got rid of a friend who was also going to have gastric bypass. She was very negative all the time and I think bc I got my date first she became jealous. And tried to start stuff like I'm jealous bc I don't have a man, or tell her other friends what I said but deleted her comments back to me. But my days without her are sooooo much better by far!! I believe you have to be drug tested or at least here where I live you do! Can't have it in your system 6 months before or you will be disqualified!... And I'm sorry but smoking that stuff kills brain cells in the beginning with why would you do it when you have had a surgery? It's like a death sentence! I wish people would take nursing classes and learn about the body and what things kill.... Oh Lordy I tell my daughter, and we watched skin tight along with 600 pound life. I tell her if you don't eat right or exercise this could be you. So I have to make her go outside but once she's out she runs and everything. So get her outside playing or to a track walk/run together make new and active memories. I'm glad you all had bad dates too and I'm not the only one! Though I have stopped dating till I get my surgery and become who I want to be on the outside. All of my dates were bad in the past I don't know how many times iv been called fat! Or like one guy said my face doesn't match my body! I am to big for his type! I have tolerated it for many years and it's just getting worse. I know he has some type of dementia or something but he will never go to the doctor to be diagnosed. I will get back on track tomorrow, my grandma was all for me and the surgery. So I will make it my life goal to lose weight and run 5Ks for her. Why did I have to lose my grandma who I could tell anything to and talk about things with. It's been a few month and now my pApa is getting rid of all her stuff. my parents have done a lot for him and see him daily but yet he says they do nothing for him. My aunt lives in va beach and has him doing things so if he passes she gets it all. Which is not a big deal but my grandma would never approve of the hurtful things he's said to our family and have done. It hurts me she was looked at like a bother so many memories in the house that lingers of sadness now. We were allowed in to get some of her things like cloths and I just cried saying I'm sorry grandma. My papa always talks about us ( me and my family) like we are stupid along with being fat we are going to not live long. My surgery is also a waste bc I'll be fat again in 2 years. Is how he thinks. I just don't see how someone could be so rude, so mean, and heartless. The reason for this rant is bc I'm sick of him and sick of remembering all the times he's called me fat, my sister fat, my grandma (who was dying) fat, and my mom fat. I believe bc of my weight I don't get my periods have not had one since April and that was on the 10 day pills to make me have one. I am sure after I lose weight it will come back and I'm sure that day will look like a shark took a bite out of me haha... Well I choose to use never again bc Ik I'm a binge eater and crackers are my go to, eating a whole sleeve before I know it! So why spend thousands to end up right back where I started in a year or 3, eating sleeves of crackers....
