  1. True. I definitely wonder if it's worth taking things in at this earlier stage... I'm only 6 weeks out. Currently dress size 24 Aus - want to be a 16. Thinking I should milk my current wardrobe for all is worth!!!! - plus size stuff is always very pricey. That said I can't sew - and alterations arn't cheap either. And I don't want to look ridiculous ...

  2. My plan is to eat half a cup every three hours. So up 6 small meals/snacks per day. I usually have 5 per day. Works great cuz you never get really hungry. My cravings have been so minimal because there is no huge gap between eating. Also important is that they are not much different in size but density might vary. Like yoghurt at morning tea. Frittata at lunch. But cals are similar

  3. I also have only been told to aim for 50G Protein a day and stay under 800 cals. I'm at 4 weeks and believe I'm healing well and am certainly choosing foods with Protein but could someone explain why the extra protein helps you loose more weight? For instance I could easy add some protien powder to my zucchini slice etc but I didn't think it was necessary given the slice already has eggs....

  4. I know you said you can't stand the idea of cooking but I felt the same as you and on the weekend just past, I decided to make 3 dishes. I made a low carb zucchini slice for breaky, a mince and veggie slice/meat loaf for lunch and a chicken mince con carne for dinner. The act of finding three recipes, going to the shops and spending the day cooking to tunes made me feel in control. And I have my food needs for a week covered. Felt super motivated after. The week before I was eating eggs tinned tuna and cottage cheese and - was slowly giving up the will to live :). I too am four weeks out. Can't wait till next week to try firmer foods.

  5. I'm the same. Two weeks out and I was able to eat two scrambled eggs without a drama for dinner. Also 1/2 cup of mashed tinned salmon at lunch. I'm sticking to the correct measures but worried because I was warned how full I would feel and that even a tea spoon more would hurt or come back up. I didn't have any extra but id love to know how many more bites would have done me in.
