  1. You are blessed with a smooth road! I was similar in a lot of ways, no pain meds, no nausea, I went back to work like it was nothing after 8 days, no real issue with foods. Although I don't push it with food I know that I can eat more and if I need to power down on my liquids I can do 32 oz in 20 minutes if I focus on drinking. That being said, I'm 12 weeks out and I've lost 70 pounds. Don't worry, follow the plan and eat proper and you will be golden!
  2. Thanks to both of you! I agree that it looks big and it definitely is when I'm standing but previously if I had attempted to sit the buttons would have blown off machine gun style and killed my cat. I love my cat.
  3. A quick story. I used to ride motorcycles. A lot. Back when I was doing that I had several shirts that I used to ride in and they all were black with flames coming up from the bottom. I ordered a shirt and it came with this shirt and they never fit. I swear that the black one is actually an XL labeled as a 2XL. I hung them up in the closet and swore that I would wear them someday. That was 2003. That day is finally here! Although this definitely isn't my style anymore, I'm wearing this dang thing. The black one is my next goal.
  4. I have to admit that I will be going off plan tomorrow. I will have a spoonful of my mom's sausage and mushroom rice, I will have a broccoli ball (made with stuffing), I will have the tip of a piece of my aunt's buttermilk pie. Of course I will do the bariatric friendly turkey, green beans with bacon, one of my smoked atomic buffalo turds, a deviled egg and some ham. I will say that this will be the most carbs that I've had since surgery and this lifestyle isn't about deprivation, it is about choices. Tomorrow's portion control will be mindful and come Friday I will be doing business as usual.
  5. You have just the right level of demented!
  6. Sheesh! A lot of horse people here. All of my horses start with keys!
  7. It has already started! We are doing 4 turkeys and a ham this year. Two of the turkeys are given away. Two will be done in an orion cooker (my favorite!) and the other two will be baked. These are atomic buffalo turds. They are halfed jalapeños stuffed with cream cheese that has been spiked with Frank's hot sauce, smoked pulled pork on top and wrapped up with wonderful, glorious bacon! They are in the smoker right now.
  8. @@OzRoo Dang you Ozroo! This popped into my head and I can't get it out! Sing this next line like you are singing Aerosmith's "I don't want to miss a thing. I don't wanna close my eyes I don't wanna fall for a sheep 'Cause I'd miss ewe, baaaaabe Here is the real song if you don't know it. I Don't Want to Miss a Thing https://g.co/kgs/JyyRpO
  9. If you are a cheap bastar- I mean frugal man like me... I mix 32oz of lemon-lime Powerade Zero 50/50 with water and add a crystal light single serving pack of lemonade. That is freaking awesome!

  11. She is a pretty woman. I hope that she does it and more importantly that she can keep it off.
  12. Nicely done! A bit off topic but that looks like a sleep number bed. How has your sleep number changed as you lost weight?
  13. Here is another one that nobody talks about. Without the padding holding my boys in place I sat on my boys trying to sit down on the toilet. Ouch! Unfortunately this has happened a few times and I've learned cradle them or speak in a voice that only my dog can hear.
  14. I might actually have a little bit of sheep in me! My grandparents were married in New Caledonia. I've always wanted to check it out. What can I say, I'm Baaaaad!
  15. This is awesome! I'd missed your story previously. Congratulations!
  16. I have to agree with everyone else. You look great in both pictures. Congrats!
  17. Awhile ago I was at my doctors office and he was going through the usual questions. He asked if I had been sexually active. I said yes. He then asked if it was with multiple partners and without batting an eye I said do goats count? Later he asked me to stick my tongue out and say "ahhh". Instead I said Maaaaa!
  18. She may not see this because you didn't do the @@QueenOfTheTamazons notification. The simple answer is that if you are regular in your pooping then you tend not to be stalling. When your pooping your losing weight, when you're not pooping you're not losing.@@rubia72
  19. I weigh naked. Just for grins I weighed myself last night before going to bed. I was 246. This morning I was 242 again. A word of caution, don't fry bacon naked...
  20. Mine still smells like poop but it isn't the horrendous smell of something that is dying and trying to crawl out of my body like it used to.
  21. I am weird. I did my research. I made my decision. I wasn't nervous or excited. It was just something that needed to be done and I was completely at peace with it.
  22. Just watch the person who you know. Their weight will return because "their sleeve didn't work". They are making crappy choices while you're doing it right and have learned how to eat. Congrats to you you and sucks to be them!
  23. Drinking is definitely tough at first. I'm 12 weeks out and I can always get my 64 oz but sometimes I just have to hold my cup to remember to drink. Lately I've been doing 90 oz. You'll get there!
