I was ready to eat the squirrel...
You ought to try bear if you haven't already. I could bearly get it down it was so greasy. But since I was a guest in the home of some friends, I just had to grin and bear it. Bear is only good for sausage. I have some in my freezer right now.

It finally fits!
Thank you all! I have a couple of XL shirts that I could wear easily while standing but sitting really isn't an option quite yet but I think that another 15 pounds or so and I will be there.

Broke your heart and most of the bones in it's body! Back in the day I ate all kinds of small game and I must say that squirrels are pretty good! Raccoons are greasy bastards that will never pass my lips again though

I feel like a failure...
I haven't been where you are so I can only suggest what I know works. Get back to the basics, don't drink 15 minutes before eating and wait until 30 minutes after eating before drinking, eat protein first and then veggies if you have room, eat low carb and sugar free.

Sodas
I'm not going to deny that when in maintenance I have every intention of having a high quality root beer when I'm camping or having a bbq. Otherwise I've been done with sodas for years.

Mine is in storage as well for multiple issues and I can't justify the money to fix it at this point. My wife loves to ride with me as well and she definitely enjoys the role of biker chick

Comforts?
highfunctioningfatman replied to Crafty Li'l Devil's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&AI didn't need anything other than my wife! Perfect to cuddle with. Excellent massage. Helped me look for soup and something other than water to drink at the airport. Wouldn't let me carry my backpack... Yep, she was all I needed!

- Lose weight in face?
I've been so big for so long that I completely expect a turkey neck...- Lose weight in face?
Lucky dogs! I'm shaped like a "V". Much bigger on top. Even with 32" pants my shirts come untucked and my pants try to slide down.- Call out- PREPARE AND SIGN UP for NEW YEAR's CHALLENGE!
No banding here! I was a sleeve. I'm working my sagging butt off to have the success that I'm having. Also I'm just over 14 weeks out, I was sleeved August 29th.- Post-OP Weight
That is a fascinating tool! Thanks so much for sharing this! DS performed 11/28/16. SW/HW 380 lbs. What is kind of fun with that is to play with the percentage of weight loss and project where I'm going. I'm sitting around the 75-80% range with the way that I'm going.- Things I have learned about myself...
That's another great slowdown tip! But what do you do when even after you have slowed down and are full, you're stupidly determined to finish your whole plate? This is such an ingrained problem for me. A few years ago, my husband and I had a big fight about my feeling guilty over throwing away things like a cup of leftover rice instead of saving it for another night's meal. I just REALLY struggle at throwing away anything edible. I wonder if this is something I can work on during my required therapy sessions. Get yourself a portable four legged garbage disposal. They are amazing at getting rid of the leftovers. Here is mine in action.- 2 months since surgery 35lbs down and depressed
Definitely don't be hard on yourself! You've lose 35 pounds! Celebrate! I do understand where you are coming from though, I've lost a significant amount of weight and every stinkin time I get in the shower I look down over my Buddha belly and I don't see my feet! Grrr! I feel like a fat man all over again. Then when I step out of the shower I step on the scale and suddenly Buddha can kiss my saggy ass!- I'm about 4 weeks post op and here's how I'm doing...
You are kicking butt!- Do I tell or say nothing.
I spent very little time in the principals office with the exception of 2nd grade. Most of my demented mind comes from, as much as I hate to say this, Boy Scouts. When you get a bunch of adolescent boys together a lot of good times happen. I also spent six wonderful seasons as an "adult" teaching shooting sports at a Boy Scout camp. When you spend 8-10 weeks living with 35-50 guys some really crazy stuff happens. Great times!- I need a MUCH better fig leaf!
I guess I should update this. I as excited as a puppy with a new chew toy when I came back to my office and saw "the package". I immediately ripped open the package and proudly raised my new nut sack up to display in all of their glory while chanting the theme song from Rocky. I went home and washed them ready for the next day as I had been going commando due to severe trauma to the boys. The next day I was uncomfortable but figured it was like my boxer experience and it would be a bit before I was used to the new feeling. Unfortunately the support that I need just isn't there. The waistband was also much higher than I needed unless there is a flood. After two solid weeks I have gone back to freeballing. My search continues...- Newbie
