I have the smoker going with a pork loin at the moment. After that is my sweeties salmon. After my hack job massacre of filleting it. There was enough clean up on the carcass to make a salmon spread. I cooked the salmon in lemon and let it cool. Later I adied dill relish, Greek yogurt and old bay seasoning. I took some and put it on cheddar cheese. Pretty darn tasty!

I THOUGHT I was sleeved...

This is the reason why I won't go to my local hospital. I call it the feed and farm. They flat out suck! They literally recommend that you take a sharpie marker and write what procedure you want done in the area of your surgery to "avoid confusion". You would have better luck with a drunken buddy performing your surgery while watching youtube to figure out what to do. -

She has guns and arrows too!Walther P22's (we bought his and hers for our first anniversary) 1911 .45 ACP .17 HMR Getting ready to clean after an afternoon of shooting Jeanna sighting in her Howa .270 Winchester before hunting season last year. Archery practice in our front yard. One of her split arrows. Another afternoon of shooting. I believe that this was when I got my .38 special. Teaching Casey to count one 9mm round at a time. Some people would call this an "assault rifle" it's just a .22. I may as well trust her with a fillet knife and she has access to all of the above or do what is being done in the pictures below. Yes that's correct that is my sweetie with a plasma cutter. If I want my truck and do a couple thousand pieces all it would take would be for me to piss her off right! -

The wife out fishes me every single dang time! The last cast of the day and I brought in the rainbow on the bottom. Jeanna sets her pole down on the dock with the spinner just about a foot in the water and she caught the one with the dollar bill on it. Look at how much fatter that beautiful rainbow is than mine. Of course it is longer too! -
Anybody else feel like they are starving?

My thoughts on the not being able to have something is that it is like going to a strip club. No matter how much ya wanna, ya ain't gonna get any! For the record I've only spent 2 nights in strip clubs and both of those were for bachelor parties. I had no problems leaving there and I had no problems cooking for a bunch of family and friends the weekend after my surgery. That is blackberry bbq chicken boobies, bacon wrapped mushroom, onion, garlic and parsley stuffed chicken thighs in my smoker, that is cauliflower mash with potatoe skins stolen from my mother in law, asparagus, broccoli balls and not pictured on the table was a nice salad. -

I figured that I can call her damn near anything after her being pregnant and then having problems with milk production after my son was born. I was on the phone talking to my sister and she asked how it was going and I explained that Jeanna was like a regular heifer! She said oh God don't tell her that! I said that I already had. I guess that makes Mrs. Fat Man easy to swallow... -

My brother-in-law took a frozen ham from here through the airport to Chicago. Get yourself a fish and a plane ticket and come on out to Oregon! -

Eating reeeeaaaaallly slow
highfunctioningfatman replied to Browneyedgirl41's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Annndddddd I'm obviously full of crap! Yes, I had problems with certain things, I still can't drink water. I just give things a day or two and try again. My "trick" for eating too fast is to immediately split my food into 2 piles and eat just half, 20-30 minutes later I eat the other half. I'm a work in progress as my wife will tell you... -

I put it in a travel coffee mug from a local coffee company and sipped away everywhere I went. I just looked like an everyday coffee freak out on the town. -

Our local Safeway stores have hot soups. I went down there and ladled out the broth from their "chunky chicken noodle" by the time that I was done it was super chunky! I would grin from ear to ear thinking about the next person going "what the heck happened to the soup?". -

I had the best medical experience that has ever been had in my family in Mexico. I trust my surgeon more than any hospital within 500 miles of me. -
Help... I really need to poop
highfunctioningfatman replied to blu2020's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
For whatever reason avocado has always been a natural laxative that is extremely fast working for me. I can certainly report that post op that is still the case! Is there any food that you had pre-op that can help you push it out? -

I should mention that during the camping, hunting, barbecuing and smoking meats I would only have one per day. -

For me I gave up soda 90+% years ago when I problems with aspartame. I was drinking 2-3 44 ounce Diet Dr Peppers daily. The only time that I have had soda since is when we were camping, hunting, barbecuing and smoking meats. In fact I will be smoking a pork loin and a bunch of salmon today. Henry Weinhard's root beer is certainly in my memory and may perhaps someday be something where I have one on a special occasion. -

Hmmm. I may have made a mistake. I didn't think about the carbonation in phosphates. Buurrrrrppppp, burp, bu, burp, BBBBRRRAAAAPPPPP!!!, burp,burp... I know that all of you are wondering what in the hell was going through my mind. I used to take my boy here a couple of times of year. This is a local soda fountain that offers every flavor in sugar-free as well. So yes I had a dirty monkey. Which is chocolate and banana flavors with acid phosphate that is similar to seltzer Water. If you're curious and also seems to work well as a laxative! Oops I forgot the picture!
