I've used Greek yogurt in place of a lot of different things and it works out quite well. Try it with lemon juice as a salad dressing, add lime and cilantro to put on cheese squares, in place of mayo for deviled eggs, I could go on but the point is get creative, it is fun!

@ She is doing much better. She has lost some of the peripheral vision in her left eye. Most likely it is permanent. She can drive again. Fortunately she is right eye dominant but she shoots with both eyes open and it has really messed with her shooting. She is quite upset about that.

Yes I'm a dude. Sorry. My wife has hormone issues and there are times where we have to use lube and times that we don't. You should check with your doctor though because for my sweetie she actually had a pituitary gland issue due to a brain tumor.

We try to do one special meal once per payday. My sweetie hit a home run! That is a bacon wrapped filet mignon and butterflied shrimp stuffed with cream cheese, lime juice, rosemary and then wrapped in bacon. Unfortunately 3 bites of steak was all that I could handle but those shrimp, oh those shrimp! Ahhh, happy fat man indeed! ????

I do agree that Obamacare didn't create this mess. Insurance companies and corporate greed did. This is why we go to Mexico for surgery and why I can have a biopsy done on my dog for $250 and on my wife the cost is $15000 for essentially the same surgery. In my case it is a company that is out of touch with its indians. The Chiefs haven't been here in this company and they don't understand. I've been involved in multiple projects at the corporate HQ and they are extremely out of touch.

I did something similar to #2 on the short puree diet. Unfortunately it had the lovely appearance of moist cat food and it really turned me off mentally. #1 looks great, I'll have to give it a shot.

I was allowed lemon juice or vinegar. I was also encouraged to have a spoonful of Greek yogurt daily. I mixed the yogurt and lemon juice together and it was awesome!

I have to apologize to @kris2100. I had no intention of this going the way that it did. I had no desire to have this be bashing. I'm sorry for the way the thread headed.

Don't worry about Mexico. No additional organs were harvested from me and we were treated like family. Better care there than anything we have received in the states. I'm more willing to go back there and have surgery than to get a flu shot here.

I recall going to Wally World on day 4 and being wiped out but on day 5 I did Wally World and Safeway like they were nothing. Eggs were ok but eggs with havarti cheese and green enchilada sauce was magical. I've had turkey chili a couple of times but I try to avoid the beans just to keep my carbs down. Once I get closer to my happy place i'll add beans back in. For me I know that carbs and sugars killed any diets that I had previously. It sounds like you are doing great! Keep up the good work!
