It's your journey. If you choose not to tell anyone that's fine. If you choose to tell everyone that's fine. My thought process is I'm doing this for me. I always think about other people and put everyone else first. This is my time to be selfish and take care of myself.

A coworker had Gastric bypass a few years back, she shared her story with everyone l and I saw how they judge her. Some of my coworkers don't care about boundaries. I still haven't told my co-workers and don't plan on it until I'm scheduled to leave for a few weeks. Its none of their business what I'm doing. I'm a very straight forward person but private at the same time especially when it comes to my personal issues and health.
