Im 3wks out. When do you suggest i start going back at the gym? I also had my gallbladder taken out and i also had a huge hernia repaired so thats why i havent hit the gym yet,but please tell me, its not time yet? @@ShelterDog64, we're all new. I thought i could eat 1 of those small little bags that come in the variety pack of different potato chips. WRONG. I wanted to eat another 1 after my fullness ended. @@badkitty, i didnt dare near ice cream because i LOVE IT. But i did eat a potatoe chip my 2yr old granddaughter put in my mouth. It was a little 1 but god did it trigger those cravings for cbips. I tried to sike myself up and say well my stomach will only allow me to eat just so many but hell naw, id want to eat more than 1. I just prayed that night that he take and remove those cravings from me. I didnt spend 3hrs on a table 3wks ago to only eat the samethings i was eating. Now mind it, i didnt have this surgery because i have problems with food. I dont need anyone bashing me or asking why did i have it ok. But i have ms, and 3yrs ago they started me on iv bags of steriods because i couldnt walk at 1 time. I gained almost 150 because everything i took had steriods in them and on my own, the weight wouldnt move. Since i decided to go this route, i can no longer take anything with steriods but idk. Ive always been 145lbs. Now, arthritis, Fibromyalgia has set in and they need to do a total knee replacement. Not on me their not. They said it really isnt nothing you can do about it. If youre getting your Proteins in and fluids and taking your Vitamin, thats all u can do. If you weren't doing all these things, thats what theyd be telling you to do. Im only 3wks out and im dredding that part. Some lose alot of hair and some people dont. So, let me understand because im 3wks out and i feel like im not losing weight. I lost most of minebefore surgery. I feel like im at a stall and even may have gained. Im still not having a bowel movement so thats not helping me feeling fuller. But so doing the 14 day liquid phase will jump start the weight lose again? Me to with the chews. Now my nutritionist did tell me for this moment, curtain gummies are ok. Thats why i hate the fact that these dr are not all on 1 page. Some tell you this where so.e tell you something else. Like the pre op diet. I had to fast for 14 days of just liquids, and broth and Protein, nothing else by mouth, nothing. Im 3 wks out and my dr still has me crushing my pills but i just swollow them. As far as my Vitamins, im doing the gummies for now. But i just didnt want to do the crush thing. Well, i can tell you the honest truth for me. I had my surgery oct 4th, and the 4 days i spent in the hospital i was great, but when i got home on my own, i honestly felt like crap. I didnt grt my Water in everyday nor my Proteins. I couldnt take 4 sips without cramping because i was full. So i ended up having to set an alarm to do a 1oz of water every 15 minutes. Im on the puree phase now. My dr was before i got to this pbase, i was scared that i was throwung up if i tried to drank a Protein shake so no protein. But they were more concern with me getting the fluids in. So i let myself get dehydrated and bouncing back from that makes you so tired. You dont wanna do anything. Thats 1 place that i havent looked for recipes but i know i dont like refried beans. I started this stage last week and i havent been able to keep anything down that has been pureed. So i stick to scrambled eggs with cheese, tuna fish, rhings that i dont have to puree. Ive still had this pain underneath my left breast when i breath in deep. I know that fullness pain but its not that. I have it all the time and im nauseated all the time and have to take my zofran. I havent been able to sleep so they switched the zofran to the phenigrin, i know i didnt spell it right but it helps nausea and helps sleep. Idk if anyone else feel like me but after having this surgery i have this guilt if i cant get my fluids in, my Protein is not the problrm right now since i can get the eggs in. The dr removed my gallbladder and repaired a huge hernia so he hasnt released me to the gym yet, i cant wait. I feel like i was losing faster before the surgery than now. @@kittykatja85, did u see the dr about your incision? All of my little ones are gone already and i had my surgery on the 4th oct. Now the biggest 1 that he pulled the gallbladder and rest of stuff out of did the samething. It had scabbed over and i was taking a shower and the scab fell off. It looked like it wasnt healed on the inside because there was just a hint of blood but also really pink. It didnt look bad it just was a hint of blood. So maybe its something that just happens and that incision takes a minute to heal whereas the other little bites( they look like bug bites) healed great and i started putting Vitamin E oil on them and theyre fading away. Congrats. Im 12 days post op. I remember my 14 day liquid diet. It was so much easier to get through than i thought. They still get you up the sametime as anyone else. They left the folly in my bladder until the next day but yes, you are up walking. They put this almost like a waist trainer on you while in the operating room while youre still sleep. And i still wear mine while im walking. It does t hurt.
