Me: weight loss surgery PA: oh, how is that going for you? Me: great, down about 60 pounds since July PA: omg, when you said you had WLS I was wondering why the heck you would do that ...you don't need it but that's amazing That felt awesome! 7. As of today, I am no longer obese! I know the BMI scale is not the end all and be all and is a bit sketchy but it is still milestone and I could not be happier. Have been bit down in the dumps so this came at a great time for me.

  9. The best advice I can give is to stay off the scale. It is difficult but only when I stopped weighing daily did I find peace. I would get so frustrated on a day to day basis and it would significantly impact my mood. Try weekly or even less frequently. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  10. I am only 3.5 months out, was a 22 and just ordered size 14 as my 16s are getting loose. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  12. It will get better. I just tried to sleep as much as possible first few days which made the roughest days go by faster. Keep clicking the pain button and rest! Best of luck!! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  13. There was a recent thread in this you should look for with lots of responses. Most have no regrets but there are definitely some out there that would not do it again and they explain why which is important to hear. I personally am thrilled with my decision Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  14. I am traveling for business now for two months. I have an apartment with a kitchen but eat out maybe once a week with work colleagues. The waiter always asking if I didn't like my food annoys the hell out of me. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  15. For me, it was definitely harder than I had planned for. Things do get much better day by day. The benefits I see now far outweigh the struggles I had the first month or so. Yesterday I was sightseeing on a trip to Dublin and walked 22k steps! Would have keeled over before surgery! Good luck! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Easily getting Protein and Water in daily and energy has returned to normal levels. I still have my moments of frustration but this is the best thing I have ever done for myself!
