HI...ANYONE OUT THERE HAVE INFO ON DR ALVAREZ? ALSO ON HIS SITE IT SAYS HOSPITAL IN MEXICO IS STATE OF THE ART BUT IN LATE '07 MOST OF HIS PREVIOUS PATIENTS SAY THE HOSPITAL IS OLD BUT THAT HE MAKES UP FOR IT AS A GREAT DOCTOR. HAS ANYONE HAD SURGERY RECENTLY WITH HIM AND CAN ADVISE ON THE HOSPITAL HE WORKS THRU NOW. IT WILL GREATLY HELP WITH MY DECISION ALSO. :confused2: THANK YOU!! LENA23

Hi what cost was your self pay? I grew up in jax but was born in new orleans and will be a self pay for lapband but will have to go to mex cuz my doctor in west palm beach wants me to gain 20lbs to do surgery. I am 5'3 and 197lbs now with joint pains and snoring that my husband is always waking me up for to stop. If I could possibly have it in state, I would prefer that...just wandering what was your cost and to get fills in jax. Thank you!! Lena

Hi....thanks!! If I Don't Fine Anyone In Wpb, I Was Gonna Tap Into The Jax Scene Because I Grew Up There And Mom, Sisters, Uncles And Grandma Is There. As I Said My Surgery Is 5/23/08, But I'm Looking For Doctors Now For Aftercare Or Fills. Any Help Or Suggestions Would Be Great. But Browsing Site That Might Be Hard To Fine, I Hear Cause Most Doctors Don't Want To Take On Out Of Country Patients. Unless I Can Really Get A Very Cheap Ticket To Mex, It Wouldn't Be Worth Cost For Fills Or Care. Ticket Would Be Almost Same Price For Paying For Fills In Florida....so Far As I Have Seen On Some Sites.

Hi, I am in wpb, florida and would like to know if anyone has been banded or will be banded from my area. Scheduled to be banded 5/23/08 have to go to Mexico because insurance denied won't cover not enough aliments. I will be a self pay. Looking for support along the way. Any help would be great!! Was This Also For Dr. Ricardo Ramos Kelly.....coordinator For Lapband.surgery.com Said That Was Not Their Dr. Info. I Did Go To The Site Of Obesity.help They Had A Dr. Listed As Jamison Ramos Kelly. I Just Have Found Info On This Dr....i Guess But Still Seaching.....ty For Replies!!!!!
