I'd have it earlier but my surgeon and his team member will be out of town next week and the week after so I have to have it June 27. I will just have to go back to work July 1. Where do you live? I got a date today. I met with the surgeon for the first time last Thursday. I would have gotten it yesterday but the coordinator was out of the office. I asked for a tentative date while waiting for insurance approval. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I asked my coordinator if I can schedule a tentative date while we wait for the insurance to approve it because I start a new job July 1 and wanted surgery before. My surgeon is out of town the week of the 13th and the other surgeon is out the following week so the first possibility is the 27th. If they weren't going to be out of town for two weeks, it'd be earlier. Ironically, this is the same day I adopted my puppy last year I met with my surgeon on Thursday 5/26, then met with the psych on 5/31 (Memorial Day was in between). I had my psych evaluation today and he suggested I find a Support Group to see in person. I live in Crystal Lake (north Chicago suburb). Do any of you have any advice/recommendations?
