  5. Does anyone have the Prothrombin gene mutation? Anyone have any complications with blood clots? I had a PE a year and a half ago and was on blood thinner. I haven't been on thinners for a bit now and the hematologist said I'd be a good candidate for the sleeve. Has anyone had blood clots after the surgery?
  6. Hi all! This is my first post here. I have been researching a lot and am ready to start going to my doctor to get the ball rolling. I have PCOS and an looking to conceive (I know, 18 months after). I am really freaking out about the recovery. I am mostly concerned about having staples, or having open incisions. How fast did they heal enough not to have pants hurt or if you turn at your waist? I am a baby with pain! I am looking to only take a week off work. I have a desk job that requires no moving really. I will have my husband drive me to work as well. I am just concerned about the incisions/scabs getting caught, ripped, tugged. Any advice?? Thanks!
