BCBSIL wait time?

Anyone with blue cross blue shield of Illinois have to wait long? Approximately how long was it from the time you submitted all your paperwork to the time they approved you for surgery?

    About a week for me but they were confused about my paper work. The Drs office sent two copies of the same thing. One was intended to precert the hospital stay and the other was for predetermination of the procedure. Once I called and got a manager on the phone they sorted it out and had my approval emailed to me right then. Just got my eobs last week for my March surgery and it was covered at 100%, couldn't be happier!

    4 days, it took longer for my surgeons office to call and tell me, but I had already spoke to BCBS and I had my letter before the Dr office called.
