I've got to do opti-fast too for 2 weeks prior.

I'm surprised about the optifast because it's so high in sugar and low in Protein :(

I was told any shake less then 300 calories and more than 20 grams of Protein was OK. No more than 1200 daily calories. I have to start my liquid multi Vitamin and liquid Calcium 2 weeks prior too. (from New York)

I have to buy the Optifast from my surgeon's practice directly so I think that may be why? I'm from New York too! Surgeon is on Long Island
