    Hair loss 1 year out

Since I haven't had any hair loss yet, I will absolutley continue to listen to my surgeon vs. people on this site who seem to want to stroke their ego that they know more than an educated friggen surgeon. Absolutely ridiculous!

    Hair loss 1 year out

My surgeon told me that if I get all my Protein in daily and my Vitamins I shouldn't lose my hair, but if I started to notice hair loss to take Biotin, Zinc and Omega 3 everyday. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
  4. @@elliemac22 He didn't give me a specific number but at the time I was getting 600-700 calories and I added another 300 calories.
  5. I was going through the same thing and my surgeon told me to increase my calories and sure enough, the lbs started falling off. Not getting in enough calories your body is holding on to what it has. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

I'm three months out from surgery, following a low carb diet and when I get a sweet tooth, Quest Cravings cure that. They taste like a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup. Calories 240, Protein 20, Carbs 4. Also, their Protein Bars are really good!!! Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

I really don't understand how?? My best friend is eight years out from surgery eats anything she wants in moderation doesn't exercise and is still at her goal weight. I've seen her eat it's just like she's had surgery. Three to four bites and she's stuffed. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

    Late June Sleeve Buddies?

@@ShelterDog64 I was prepared for the stall, especially when I was consistently dropping two lbs everyday for a week straight (miss those days). I'm not worried at all being stalled, bc I'm only reaching about 600 calories, 50 grams protein and all my water intake so I know it will pass. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

  23. My energy has been nonexistent until a couple of days ago when I could start stage two of thin Soups, sugar free puddings, etc. I now feel enough energy to start going for walks. How is your nausea? Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
  24. Hello @@Alaa1986, I had my surgery June 28th. So far so good with no problems. So sorry to hear your battling nausea. Hopefully it will pass soon, inshallah!! My best friend was sleeved in Beirut, Lebanon years ago and I know she had told me there were not any support groups. Btw, I used to live in the Middle East (Kuwait). I miss it!!! Especially the Food. My best friend lives in Amman, Jordan and my husband works in Saudi. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
  25. I am two weeks post-op and have had an amazing recovery. From the time I got out of surgery, when I was able to have ice chips I could eat them with no problem, taking my first sip was no problem. By Day four I could get out of bed by myself the pain was all but gone. That could be due to having the single incision procedure. The only issue I am having now is I'm getting a little tired of Clear Liquids (not cleared yet for full liquids yet) but mainly I am bored to death! I actually can't believe I'm sick of watching TV. I can't clean my house like vacuum, mop because of the 10 pound limit. I tried to go for a short walk but have zero energy because I can't start my Vitamins and B12 for two more weeks. I realize my body is still healing but when I feel so good at this stage it's hard to just veg and do nothing. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
