Pre-op was harder; the hunger drove me crazy.
Post-op my stomach is like a house plant... tend to it when I have to, and then leave it the hell alone and let it do its thing.

My surgeon's practice skips full liquids and mushy foods unless regular food isn't tolerated. And so far, I have tolerated everything I've eaten. I just eat a lot less than I used to, and skip carbs.

Try not to focus on weight fluctuations, as @@Babbs said, it changes daily. My scale said I was one pound heavier this morning than yesterday, which after an 800 calorie day with all Protein and Water goals met and an hour of walking is physically impossible. The variable: no bowel movement since yesterday's weigh-in. (this is why most people advise you not to weigh daily, it will drive you insane)

I'm 11 days out and I'm cleared for just about everything except beef/pork and raw vegetables. (My program skips the "full liquids" and "soft food" stages)
We're heading out to Chinese food right now... I haven't decided if I want green Beans and tofu, a chicken dish, some Soup, or maybe some ma po!

Now I'm looking at low carb "cornbread". Dang you Little Bill!
A word of warning. Don't be a dumbass like me and rub your nose and eye immediately after chopping the habanero...
I have a very funny story about hot peppers and rubbing certain body parts, but it is not worth my life to tell it. Suffice to say, they were not my parts, and I was threatened on several levels if I ever touched peppers and those parts in that order again.
Something similar to this?

I was pretty much the same as the
I was sleeved on Monday dec 5 , since then I have had no problems getting all my fluids and Proteins in at all. I don't feel full and I don't have any trouble swallowing. I eat cream of wheat for Breakfast , a Protein shake for snack, a cream Soup for lunch another Protein Shake for snack and usually some more soup for dinner with some unflavored Protein Powder in it. If I want I may have some yogurt or pudding later in the evening.
Is this too much? I don't feel uncomfortably full at all, I don't really feel a restriction when eating although I am measuring my portions to stay on plan, I just see all these people having all the problems and only getting in like 400 calories where I am easily getting in 700-900 calories a day. Help am I doing something wrong? This is pretty much me as well, no problems at all, don't even feel a restriction.
I finally felt a restriction last night when I was distracted and took a huge gulp of Water (like I used to do...). Won't be doing that again any time soon! LOL

I guess my doctor is more progressive... I'm a week out and cleared for basically everything except raw vegetables and beef/pork/lamb. Skipped full liquids and mushy completely.

Hi folks, for those of you who use MyFitnessPal, do you enter your Vitamins?
I noticed this morning that my blood sugar was slightly elevated after taking my Bariatric Advantage Vitamin and Calcium chew.

My surgeon checks out the gall bladder and will remove it if it looks diseased or if there are already problems. They also check out the liver for problems and will do a biopsy if it looks bad.
If you have a healthy gall bladder, it stays.
Does the endoscopy show whether there's a bad gallbladder or not?
No, they visually check it when they've got the laparoscope in.

I brought chapstick (used once), listerine strips (never used), slippers (never used), iPad (used constantly), phone (used occasionally), chargers (overnight), book (finished in a morning and got another book from spouse, which I also finished), notepad (never used), fresh underwear (daily), t-shirt (second day), toothbrush/toothpaste (twice daily).

There are no true malabsorption problems with the sleeve. The malabsorption occurs with the RNY and the DS. As others have stated, reduced intake and sometimes diet changes can cause you to not take in enough nutrients, which is why they strongly recommend Multivitamins after sleeve surgery. There are no digestive changes for the sleeve, so medications are usually continued as before. Of course, you'll need to discuss your specific situation with your surgeon. The only thing I have noticed is that food seems to go through my sleeve a little faster than it did through my old stomach, but it's not so much faster that it will affect medication absorption, most of which actually happens in the upper part of the intestines anyway. Some medications have to have dosages adjusted, particularly seizure medications and anything that is dosed based on weight, but it's not an absorption problem.
Also, if your gall bladder is removed during surgery, you can have some negative bowel effects if you eat food that is too fatty.

Why is that? I switched to an ER this year because i was struggling.
Extended Release tabs won't take nearly the full effect because your stomach is much smaller.

I've been posting things like "What a beautiful day!" and "Today is a great day! :D :D :D " and my family is wondering if I've been replaced by a pod person.
