  1. Really? Interesting and good to know! Right now I'm averaging about 3 bottles of Water a day. Is that enough? Or should I be getting in 4?
  2. Hey guys, thanks for the help! For the last week I've been doing everything perfectly! Getting in all my Protein, all my Water and exercising and I lost 6 pounds so far! So happy to be losing again! Thanks again everyone!
  3. Unfortunately, I don't like any of the things you can add to water. I just have to drink it straight up
  4. Will do. Yeah, I actually wasn't drinking water because I hate it, and was drinking 2% milk.
  5. No fucking kidding, really?? Wow, I don't feel so bad then! But wait, IS it normal that I'm stalling for this long this soon out from surgery?
  6. How long were you stalled? Glad you're not anymore!
  7. I don't know what to do! It's been over a month and the scale isn't moving! Actually, it's gonna UP a couple of pounds! My question is, is it NORMAL to be at a stall for THIS long??
  8. I'm almost 5 weeks post surgery and I still haven't hit a stall yet. I thought it was supposed to happen at 3 weeks. I know it's weird to want to stall but now I'm afraid I'll lose too fast and end up getting gallstones. Any incite on this?
  9. Yeah, I know I chewed it well enough but the bites were just too big. Well, I know better for next time =)
  10. It was horrible! I'm 3 weeks out and had fish. I chewed each bite very carefully and for like 35 to 40 times but the bites were too BIG! Thankfully I threw it all up and all the PAIN and discomfort went away. Oh, my god, it was so horrible! And let me tell you, FISH is THE worst thing you could throw up! ugh! I will never make this mistake again! Only tiny ass bites for me!
  11. 196 and 186! I meant 296 and 286!!! lol! Sorry
  12. When I hit the stall is when I'm gonna break out my tape measure and see how much I've lost in inches! =D
  13. Right? Well, I didn't really realise how much I used it as a coping mechanism until I didn't have it anymore. Like you said, I want what I normally wouldn't even eat! Not good! But I love your mindset! You're so right!
  14. Only 2 weeks. And I've only lost 12 pounds
  15. Alright! Congrats! Not too much longer now! And thanks! Yeah, the only thing I'm worried about now is that I don't seem to be losing weight very fast. My surgery was on the 7th and I've only lost 12 pounds
  16. The day of surgery, I weighed 196. That was the 7th of this month. Today I weigh 186. That's only a weight loss of 12 pounds! Doesn't that seem too slow? I'm not cheating! I'm taking all my Vitamins, getting in all my Water and 75 to 80 grams of Protein and walking a mile a day. Do you lose more weight when you eat solid foods? Because the only real food I'm eating is cream Soup, applesauce and a tablespoon of Peanut Butter a day.
  17. Oh, also, emuts... what TanishaP said is so true, it gets even better the further you go out from surgery! Like how I was talking about the foods in the commercials and how you're going to DVR your shows? Well at the time of writing that, yeah, it was a bitch seeing them, but NOW... they have NO effect on me! Now, watching those commercials for crazy bread from Little Ceasars, dripping with cheese and butter is as if I'm watching a commercial for Ace Hardware store! lol! It does nothing for me! So don't be like me and freak out wondering why you're still desiring all those foods when you're watching tv in the hospital! =)
  18. Awesome! Not too much longer now! Yeah, if i could do it all over again, I wouldn't have been nervous at all! Everything went smoothly!
  19. I had a banana with some peanut butter on it and I got dizzy and sick! I've never been so relieved to feel so sick in my life! lol I guess everything's ok!
  20. Yay! I'm glad I could help! Just research, research, research! Don't be like some of these people who go in to get the surgery done and don't even know they're supposed to sip their liquids, or don't know what foods to stay away from etc. Don't be like them.
  21. I'm wondering if my Dr. made my stomach as small as it's supposed to be!! I can eat a half a can of cream Soup before I feel full which is what STARTED me wondering if he made the new stomach really tiny or if it's kinda big and I JUST ate a whole banana. No dumping and no sense of feeling full. What the hell!? Most people say that they eat four bites of banana and feel stuffed or that the sugar in the banana will cause them to dump! But me, I can eat a whole one with no problems!
  22. Do you think The exercises I'm doing is enough to prevent skin saggage?
  23. Congrats on your surgery date! I'm 10 days out from mine. If I could go through it all over again, I wouldn't have been as nervous as I was and would have been more excited. There really was nothing to worry about.
