Surgeon must have had a good reason. Is there a particular reason why you do not want the bypass?

I guess I was already geared to the sleeve and the less invasive surgery. Im worried about the rerouting. I have A LOT of weight to lose.

If you have a lot to lose, rny is probably better. The sleeve has not been around all that long so we don't know how it will affect the body year's out. I thought I wanted the sleeve until I went to the info session. Also, I learned because I used to have GERD (severe acid reflux) I was not a candidate. The sleeve usually makes that worse. Ask why he recommends one over the other. He should answer all your questions. Best wishes!
