  1. I work in hospice and palliative care. My company is awesome. However, I'm getting some push back from Co workers. Although we have alot of people with weight issues. I feel like I won the lottery. Did anyone else have issues returning to work?

  3. Yes I'm very open about getting mine done and I have had many people complement. But somehow I think they think I'm not as heavy as I am...I had to lose 20 pounds before I have surgery and one girl was like wouldnt you be 270 or something and I was like no! Lol I'll still be in the 300's haha ... I just laugh and smile at what ppl say.. Call them out but not infront of others that way it's not trashy like :) .

Smiles thanks, I've been taking an ambassador role and encourage people to ask questions.. that was until I got the.. "I thought you'd be smaller" comments. And I explain I've lost 42 lbs on my journey. But more importantly my diabetes is in remission. Then smile sweetly...thinking all the while "I thought you were smarter"...

  4. I haven't had many problems at work, but I work in the hospital I had my surgery at. I have had some people tell me, "if I could lose weight before hand why couldn't I just continue on my own?" That is about the worst I have experienced. Those ladies (and I use that term loosely) in you workplace should be ashamed of themselves, and maybe look into what options that have to build their self confidence.

Smiles I had that comment too. Even a nurse practioner offer me supplements so I wouldn't have to have surgery..lol I'm thinking jeesh stone age....lol

    A tiny "KARMA UPDATE"

For a person who started out making fun of people's grammar, and spelling, you should really check your own writing. The previous post you made to me, had a few errors. You see, karma works brilliantly in this Universe!

To address your latest post. Actually, I know I am not better than anyone else. I can honestly say I was not raised to believe that anyone was better than anyone else. We are all equal. THANK THE UNIVERSE, and mom and dad! I have worth, just as every other human being does. We all have worth. I'm not better than anyone. I don't feed my ego, any more than I would feed my pouch at this point in my life.

So, in your Universe, an addict of gambling or drugs is not equal to an addict of food I guess, because you didn't get fat by osmosis. An addict is an addict is an addict. I just don't understand your thinking. I guess you're exempt, because you know, you're better than those addicts.

For you to think that you are better than others, is seriously and quite honestly,...not my business at this point. I wish you well, in this Universe.

    *Walks away*

    And drops the mic...jeesh

  6. My Protein shake guidelines also said to make sure it doesn't say "protein concentrate, hydrolyzed Gelatin, or collagen protein" anywhere on the list of ingredients. ....this requirement is what keeps me from being able to use the Premier brand. I use the unjury brand

Like kmorri I use Unjury and nectre brands bought in the dr. office. My doc seems very strict compared to some of the post I read here. We weren't given an outside option, even told us how much money we'd need prior to this stage. Honestly took the guesswork out of it

I ordered mine online and I didn't find Unjury to be anymore expensive then any other brand that met my surgeon's requirements......Also, my surgeon wants you to get off Protein drinks once you get into the "real" food stage. ....that may be difficult but we shall see. one step at a time!!

Good morning all..ready for day 3

The dietician said that supplements and Vitamins will be a part of my regular diet. Forever.
