I had my sleeve done 3-8-16 by. Dr. Alexander Barkan at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola. Wonderful experience!

Wow I had a lot of typos in my previous post. Sorry!

Just talked to the ER Doctor, no infection but it is seroma. All blood work is good. Guess seroma will take up to few weeks to go away u fortunately it's right at my waist where I wear pants/skirts so it will be tonight going back to work on Tuesday

Hey brown. Yes these past 2 days all I have done is take in liquids, sleep, and run to the bathroom. The first day my head throbbed so much because I was hungry. Today it has gotten much better. Hopefully by Wednesday I won't recognize any longer that I haven't ate anything and I would have more energy. How long did it take for your insurance approval If you don't mind me asking? I think waiting for approval would kill me before the liquid diet will lol.

That is great. So happy for you guys. Congrats. I have Aetna too and my information supposed to be submitted Tuesday. Praying for a quick response and surgery by the end of June. Have to lose 19 more lbs.

Update...
Just left the Dr's office. They want to review my info from the first bariatric Dr and let me know what they can use and what tests/steps need to be repeated with the new bariatric Dr.
The new Dr has a $600 fee that needs to be paid before surgery, which insurance doesn't cover. They are going to see if they can reduce it because I had everything done already. ????????????
...and more waiting begins...
