  1. I knew the ins and outs of the procedure as I have done it before. I just thought I was Superwoman and could handle a backpack instead of a suitcase , wow was I wrong.. they called me back last night and said to keep gauze on it do not manipulate the area and wear a compression garment on it like a binder. Heating pad and tylenol. So far,so good today. 🤞🤞🤞

  2. Beautiful person that you are, you are kind, empathetic,a libran like myself. I pray you find yourself throughout this mess of clouds we call life. You were born into this world, have your procedure, hold your shoulders back and head up. You my dear are worth it. I read your post as I am in the San Diego ,California airport for 6 hours waiting to catch my flight home. I just left Tijuana Mexico 3 hours ago. My surgery was August 18.. Keep a positive mind to get you to the other side of all of this. You will be so happy you did..Teresa

  3. I just want to commend you on communicating with others about the struggle as it is so real. I believe I am post op about 4 years now. I did the phentermine thing and lost 20 pounds ,that was short lived. I am on something different now called diethylpropion ER ,6 weeks so far and a measly 5 pounds down. I am hardheaded and know what I need to do. Move more than I put in my mouth as the YMCA membership isn't getting used like it should be. So again I commend you on sharing and glad I saw that I am still not the only one out there trying to make a change. And yep, don't give up. You are strong, you are important and beautiful.Cheers to you and keep that positive attitude my dear..Teresa

  4. Hi dear, thank you for sharing. I met my goal at 6 months post-op 2 years ago.i stayed at goal for a few weeks, goal is 150 I, yoyo to 160 and back down again. I convince myself it's ok to go up and down a bit but it scares me. I need a pouch reset I think, not sure what to do.

Thank you so much! I'm going to try to keep a clear focused head. I know getting anxious about it makes it worse

  5. Not sure if I should be responding or asking a question. I was sleeved May 2016 ,I attained my goal weight within 6 months postoperative. Now feeling good about myself I feel less restriction and think I can stuff anything in my face. My weight goes up and down within 10 pounds within a week. I am hard headed and will pop 3 stool softeners or laxatives to help "cleanse" myself. I'm a moron I think, not cool to do that daily which I do sometimes for months at a time. Just need some advice I'm a snacker too ,which doesn't help. Thanks for reading

  6. hi, I sometimes order a healthy meal from the cafe at my job, they serve "clean eating" food.this can be divided into several meals.i eat a fair amount of peanuts that I have to shell the more work to get to the reward which in turns has me eating less, good protein.i sometimes substitute peanuts for a meal and keep moving along :)
