    Constipation Question?

I feel your pain. 2 Stool softeners a day and chewable Fiber 2times a day and miralax about every 2 days works well. What really helped me when I was "stuck" was a dulcolax suppository. Within 20 mins. I felt so much better. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  2. April 26 will be our 19th wedding anniversary, so I will remember your date for sure! I had my surgery at Magee. It went really well. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Pre op headache!

I experienced the same thing. Really bad headaches, weak and tired. The 2 wk preop diet was the worst. I was drinking 3 shakes a day + Clear liquids. They had me increase to 4 shakes and that helped some, but no doubt, those preop two weeks was torture for me. It gets SO much better though. Best of luck! 5. I am 42 and had my bypass on Feb15. So far I'm feeling good. I took a month off of work after and needed it. All my recovery time I focused on fluids and Protein and moving more. I was really sore, but the strong pain med made me sick, so I just used liquid Tylenol. I really wish all the best of luck! We all need it. This isn't easy, and the support is crucial. I would do it again in a minute! I feel wonderful. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  6. We have the same surgery date, Focused Traveler. My surgery was Feb 15 as well. I have only lost 25# since surgery, but lost 60# on my 6 month pre op. diet. I have more head hunger than regular hunger. When at work I forget to eat if I get really busy and start feeling weird/lightheaded. No foods have bothered me yet, which makes me nervous. My doc instructed to keep calories under 1000. I avg about 400-600/day. I still have 80 more lbs to lose. What kind of shakes are you having? I like premier Protein. Only 160 calories and 30 protein. Are your shakes higher calorie? I drink one for Breakfast everyday. Hope you do well. Congrats on the 30#!! That's great! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  7. Hello, I'm new to the site as well. I'm 7 weeks out and had my surgery in Pittsburgh. I have already had a stall for about two weeks but started losing again this week. Frustrating, but I feel so good. I lost 60 before surgery and 25 post op. At 85 lb loss I'm half way to my goal. Best of luck! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
