Elle09- I'm also scheduled for sleeve surgery on April 28 at Inova Fair Oaks! What time is your surgery? I have to be there at 10:15am for surgery around 1pm with Dr. Nain. Who is your surgeon?
I've also found that it has been a good experience overall and that everyone I've dealt with has been really nice. I'm so excited (and a little nervous) for surgery. I can't wait to have it done with and to start the next phase of my journey.
I'm on day 5 of the liquid diet- the first few days were rough, but yesterday and today have been much better. I never thought I would look forward to hot chicken broth so much

Oh @@Elle09 I want a banana lol! My surgeon said no bananas for a long due to the sugar My pre-op is all liquid.

I am getting sleeved on 28 April 2016 and plan to take 2 weeks off. That is what my physician recommends due to low energy and the dietary needs initially. I see where people have taken between 2 - 4 weeks and a few less than that. I am curious to know myself from others.

I freaking love the new single serving packs of flavored tuna and salmon.
I keep my desk drawer at work filled with them. So many varieties are available now. No preparation needed....just grab a spoor or fork......open those bad boys up and have a meal.

I had a 3 month supervised weight management program to complete and had various appointments appointments. I am on the 4th day of the pre-op diet and scheduled to be sleeved 28 April 2016 so I am counting the days.

October 2015

April 2016 (not after pics.....but DURING pics....long way to go to reach AFTER status)

I'm a year and 5 months out, and surpassed my doctors goal last month. Life is great

It's been a while since I've been on here and just wanted to share my progress. My starting weight was 314, I'm currently 196! I'm amazed at the difference and progress I've made! I wish anyone thinking about surgery or just beginning their journey the best! This was the best decision I've made and it has truly changed my life!
