Let me know. Sent from my SM-G935T using the BariatricPal App I am not using either one but I plan on buying a fit bit. I think I am in a couple facebook groups, the latest one is for June - July sleeversI'm in one for May/June. But honestly I'm thinking of leaving the group. Too many people looking for an excuse to eat whatever they want. Had someone a few weeks post op talking about drinking alcohol because it's a holiday. 10. From what I've seen, most people are fine after a few days and some return to work within a week. That is if they have office jobs where no heavy lifting is involved. So I would think those 5 days are enough. Sent from my SM-G935T using the BariatricPal App
  11. Are you taking Iron? That usually changes the color Sent from my SM-G935T using the BariatricPal App
  12. Yep still the same date. Did pre-op last week. Man what I wouldn't give for one small meal. I got weighed yesterday, but it wasn't very accurate so I'm going to weigh Friday and see if anything has moved. Sent from my SM-G935T using the BariatricPal App
  13. I'm not nervous for the actual procedure. If anything I'm nervous about recovery because I have a 2.5 year old. I don't think she'll get why I'm not able to play on the ground with her for a few weeks.Awww yeah it'll be hard to explain. My daughter is 6 and I think she's more excited than I am. I wasn't nervous until I went to pre-op and they told me I couldn't wear deodorant. Then I just started to freak out. Sent from my SM-G935T using the BariatricPal App
  14. Are you allowed food, food or like veggies? I can have lettuce, spinach, tomatoes and a few other low starch veggies. But only 2 cups. This is the 2nd day and so far so good. Maybe no weight-loss, maybe inches? Or muscle gain from gym? Sent from my SM-G935T using the BariatricPal App
  15. How's the diet going? Sent from my SM-G935T using the BariatricPal App
  16. Are you feeling nervous about actual procedure?
  17. I am....surgery on the 7th as well. I started swapping food for Protein shakes a couple of weeks back and upped Water intake. I officially start today, but I'm nervous that I'll eat something I shouldn't. It's not too bad as I'm allowed sugar free Jello and lettuce and a few other veggies. I suggest swapping out Breakfast with a shake, and just increasing your water intake. It'll help. I also decided to eat some of my favorite meals that I knew I wouldn't have for a long time. 18. I'm June 7th start liquids Monday, supposed to be Tuesday but I will not torture myself like that. Good luck!!! Nerves and worries are normal. You'll do fine. Sent from my SM-G935T using the BariatricPal App
  19. Wow!! I'm set to go soon so probably too late to change Dr's. But towards the end he started telling me the band would be better. That I'd gain all the weight back if I do the sleeve. Too bad for them I did my research. Have you already have surgery? Sent from my SM-G935T using the BariatricPal App
  20. Oh wow!!! Is he pushing the band? If so it's really damn strange. Sent from my SM-G935T using the BariatricPal App
  21. If it's that high then they may not require much from you. You just have to find out if they require the visits, some do others don't. Sent from my SM-G935T using the BariatricPal App
  22. I'm seeing Dr Schwack at NY Langone hospital. Sent from my SM-G935T using the BariatricPal App
  23. It's bullshit. My friend did bypass and after dropping probably close to 200 pounds has had no problems continuing with her tattoos. She had before as well. Sent from my SM-G935T using the BariatricPal App
  24. It depends on your weight/BMI and insurance. My insurance required 6 months of consecutive visits with a BMI 40 or higher as I had no other health issues. Some people go in their first visit and are able to submit. Sent from my SM-G935T using the BariatricPal App
  25. Wow....I'd say focus on losing weight and maybe next birthday Celebrate the fact that you have in a healthy manner. Sent from my SM-G935T using the BariatricPal App
