I'm 11 weeks / 3 months post op and I can say that at this point I've tried everything I've craved. I do track every bite. I don't dare to try bread, pasta, tortillas or rice. I just feel it will be very heavy for me and I'd rather pass. I'm not a alcohol drinker so that's no biggy for me. I feel very normal with family and friends just takes me longer to eat a tiny plate/bites (I've adapted very well to my sleeve) loving the results.

I'm on the same boat .... 9 week post op today Surgery weight 230 Today the scale says 199 or 200 but I'm trying to not focus on that I'm just gonna wait for my 3 month check up .... Hopefully the numbers are down by then :/ Erika.....

I had my surgery 4/25 and asked the same question to my doctor and his team. He said I could keep my acrylic/gel set on. Erika.....

I'm set for Monday 4/25 and my doctor put on a 1200 daily calorie diet am with one meal being a Protein shake.... No deep fried foods, starchie foods, salt, sodium etc etc... Two days prior to surgery I do have to do a full liquid diet tho ... I see different diet plans, different doctors.... I'm 230 5"4 BMI 39.5 Erika.....

I called my insurance yesterday asking if they got the packet, they said yes and that it was under review and today I got the approval call. Not sure if my call helped or it what. Erika.....

Hello all ! Im New here..... Been contemplating the sleeve since October of last year. I'm in the inland empire and had BCBS. I'm currently with Dr. Feiz in Rancho Cucamonga. I've completed my 6 month NUT and testing on April 1 and everything got submitted to my insurance on Tuesday April 5th ..... Well TODAY 4/13 I got a call from my doctors office saying I was APPROVED!!!!! Surgery date for 4/25 just have to get with my regular doctor for a clearance letter ! Erika.....
