    i'm here!!! lol.. looking for that push too ~ almost 2yrs out, and while i haven't gained sig, i haven't lost like others have (on facebook, Instagram) .. i know its not a competition, but i hate feeling like a "loser" [haha pun intended?]

    may I ask how did you know it stretched? I only ask bc I've always felt (all along) that I'm able to eat too much of anything @ one sitting... good luck to you!

    YUP. in the same boat, vsg 12/2015. don't feel I've lost NEARLY enough as I should have. I can relate to the working out, or lack of. I go see my Dr on the 18th.. I've only seen him 2x since surgery. AND I still am convinced something's up bc I can eat MORE THAN 3 BITES!!! hang in there.. sometimes I wonder if it was all a waste?? (I've started that thread before)..

    OMG whats going on??!!! are you eating differently? ive always felt that im able to eat too much@ once, therefore its significantly stopped losing.. r u stress eating? when did it start? sorry 2 b *all in it*
  6. I hear you!! i'm 14mos out, and have only lost abt 50ish... I don't pay attention to calories (I was told early on that as long as we're eating the right things, i.e. Protein & veggies, the "tool" will stop you.. idk I've always felt like I've been able to eat too much @ a sitting, but then again I have yet to use my food scale to weigh/measure anything..
  7. eat more often? less often? every 2hrs? 3 meals/2 Snacks? shakes in between? I can't say "whatever works for you".. ugh I'm stuck in a stall & haven't lost what I'd hope to by now either.. I eat very clean, VERY limited carbs if any,.. and it's never bread or sugary stuff. so I'm curious as to what is working best that ppl have noticed??
  8. all of the prep work.. i really only feel like i did the best while i was on the pureed stage (when you're so limited it's no wonder you're losing) stalled for abt 5+ months now.. i get that you get out what you put in.. i need to work on my Water intake & exercise.. however, after only hovering @ abt a 50lbs loss in over a yr, i eat very clean, i just think too much @ once... i'm almost like why did i even bother. ??!! wondering if anyone else felt the same feels like my "tool" isn't working!
  9. I'm still having trouble with this!! I opted for the sleeve bc I was never a "sweets", carb person but I could EAT...alot. a "volumous" eater, I used to joke. lol however, its not funny anymore... although I do eat healthily, avoiding carby, doughy, sweety (anything I basically should be). I feel that I am able to eat TOO much of anything.. I have a food scale & containers w measurements of what I should be eating, but I have yet to put them to use.. I rem learning that if you "eat properly" (we all know Protein 1st) the sleeve will do its job! I just feel like I am able to consume too much @ one sitting, therefore my calories are prob through the roof. what I ate today, really most days.. 2 (medium) fried eggs, 2 small saug patties 1/2 dollar size.. lunch was rotessire chicken & salad w feta, toms and organic dressing.. dinner will prob be more of the same did I weigh/measure anything?? nooo... so I'm sabotaging myself ugh

    curious to see how it goes.. I've gotten it terrible since having the sleeve in 12/15. do you think undergoing surgery again would be worth it to fix the problem?? or the last 20?

  13. hi @JamieLogical.. id have to say in about May of 2016. i've gained abt 3-5lbs (although i seldom weigh myself anymore) i do NOT get the Water intake that i should per day, & have only recently returned to the gym .. i strive to eat very clean, keto almost.. don't crave sweets or starches, so that's good. i MAY not be eating enough throughout the day, but i STILL SAY that i am able to eat too much @ once!! i eat lean Protein, chicken, fish, ground turkey & veggies and/or salad..

  15. uughh I'm in the same boat.. question is.. WHY should we have to still resort to those measures when this "tool" was to help is?? NOT saying that I'm not willing to do the work, but damn! lol
  16. cam I ask where you've fallen off discipline wise?? I'm very bad w getting in enough H20, however, my diet is VERY clean, in that I always commit to protein & veggies.. however, I feel like I'm able to eat TOO Much @ one sitting..
  17. OMG! I love you for this post.. just want I've needed... I was sleeved 12/17/15.. lost initially 55+.. have STOPPED since then and I'm MAD about it.. I realize that we are all on our OWN journey, however its sooo discouraging to see ppl @ my time & after even lose 100+..
  18. OMG my mother would kill me for not knowing this... if I'm measuring/weighing what I'm eating is it 4oz OR 1/4cup? and/or does it depend on if its liquid vs solid foods? I've kinda gone along not really measuring bc I was taught that as long as you're eating "correctly" Protein 1st, then the sleeve will stop you.. and it does.. however I'm wondering if I'm consuming too many calories *per day bc I'm not aware of how much I'm eating @ one sitting. *I'm really sensitive abt this due to my serious STALL... so no wise cracks, lol.. I'm eating right I just think TOO much!

    I'M OVER THIS!

    UUGGHHH, feeling so disgusted,. not looking for a pity party, just venting.. its been over a yr. since my surgery, and I'm STUCK @ abt a 50lb loss. I just reactivated this acct and see that I am up abt 5lbs since I joined in March,. I've unfollowed people/groups on IG & FB, not that I'm a "hater", (I salute & congratulate everyone)...I just don't see anything in common w them anymore.. (also my nutritionist recommended it to focus on me) my diet is usually: eggs & sausage,avocado for bkfst, lots of protein (mainly chicken) in salads or w sautéed veggies, etc. (have just started the "keto" diet) don't like carbs believe it or not, not that I haven't "cheated" & had sweets here or there, but I'm not a bread/pasta/pastry person (thank God for @ least that I guess) don't wanna go see my Dr anymore, I feel he's not helpful @ all, just recommending a book to follow. #wtf.. and the nutritionist was so/so.. have only met w her once. my low points are not drinking enough water & I'm CONVINCED I can eat too much @ one sitting. I even got a kitchen scale, haven't used it yet though. don't expect what I haven't put in, BUT I don't get why I've stalled so bad if I'm eating pretty well balanced & "clean".. what's the point of the surgery if we still have to follow a "diet" (and by that I do NOT mean I expect to still eat any & every thing that got me fat to begin with bc I don't) thx for listening....

I'm sorry for your mom.. my mom passed 3 wks after my surgery,, up until that point she was very delusional & was actually quite funny bc she'd ask how MUCH I'd lost by then (maybe 10+) and she'd say "that's it!!".. you'll be ok, you'll have to learn & adopt new coping mechanisms.. God Bless ur family
