    You can add it before or after, but you don't want to let it get over 140F. Anything over that will denature the Protein and it gets clumpy and gross, so if you're using a pudding that needs to be boiled, add it once it cools. I just use instant sugar free pudding to avoid this. For Soups, I heat it first.

    March 22. Just break from my 1 week post op apt. Lost 6lbs. Dr said I'm still full off fluids.. so ready to move onto next stage. Need to up my Water and add more Protein shakes.

    I was sleeved 3/22 too..sw 248. I've only lOst 6lbs. I just had my first Dr follow up. Said I had a lot of fluids in surgery...

    I just had my surgery March 22nd. I didn't have any nausea, they provided me with a pill I took the night before surgery to help with it and gave me meds in hospital if I needed them. I have been lucky enough to not have any issues with pain or nausea. The only discomfort I felt so far is the bruising around the incision sites and the bloating but the more you walk the better the pressure feels so I was walking laps in the hospital as soon as I could get out of bed. Good luck with everything
