After reading these post. I have decided to hire a temporary home assistant. I have my own business and I can't stand to be in bed and not doing house work or business task at home. Did anyone else use a post surgery home health aide or caregiver?

My nutritionist told me about the app... Calorie King. It helped me stay on track especially since I travel for work and eat out a lot.

Yes!!! 2 days until surgery and I dreamed that I ate a donut while waiting for surgery and it caused me to have surgery postponed 3 months. Then I had a dream that they told me I was pregnant at 41 and had 5 minutes to decide... Surgery or baby!

My husband used to do that but I talked to him and he decided to go through the low carb journey with me pre-op just to be supportive. He's that fast metabolism and very fit kinda guy who is the perfect weight and can eat anything. It helps that he is my best friend but sometimes you just have to talk about it. Good luck!

I didn't have a 2 week liquid diet. Only 2 week 30gm of carb 90gm Protein and 24 hour liquid prior to surgery which is Tuesday.

165B445- I am very nervous. I'm out having my "last supper" before my liquid diet tomorrow. The under 30gm of Carb diet has been tough but I have lost 12 pounds in 14 days.

My surgery was delayed 4 hours but went smooth afterwards. Only pain is gas pain. Stayed in the hospital 2 days due to my blood pressure but today was my first day home. I'm a little scared. Not hungry and scared to even take a sip of Water.
