I'm a newbie I had my surgery on 2 August 2016, so far everything is going fine. I'm currently down 40 pounds. []

Had my pre-op appointment at the hospital this morning. Everything is set to go for next Wednesday.

What's on my mind? Hmmm. Piña coladas, getting caught in the rain... Nah. Just give me a shot of tequila and some Alabama playing and I'm all good.

At just over 4 months post-op I've already lost 71% of my excess weight! (76 pounds)...I only have 31 more pounds until I'm at my goal weight!!

44 today! and gotta say, 44 feels a lot better than 42 and 43 did!

I was in Sam's Club and decided to try the NEXT size in jeans. I bought a 14 - Bandolino "Amy" stretch jeans and they fit perfect. I know mst of you don't get excited about a 14 but I AM! It's the first time I've seen that size in a decade! Yay me!

Terrific Tuesday! Tell me something great!

301 pounds this morning. Only 4 to go before 100 down with surgery a week from tomorrow. I haven't been below 300 pounds since early 2010. I can't wait!!

Sexy Saturday! What's your favorite physical feature about your body?

I did the Insane Inflatables 5K today with my son and a team of friends. I finished in under an hour, and only went around two obstacles. Kinda proud of myself!

It's day 4 of my preop diet. I'm feeling pretty good about it today, weighed myself when I got to work today and have lost. Tuesday the 12th I had the nutrition consultation and was 343. Today 333. Had my medical clearance physical yesterday and my EGD is Monday the 19th. Things are moving along.

Another cry baby here:) Lap band removed 11/2015, Sleeved Sept 8,2016! I’ve lost maybe 1 pound or 2, I’m bringing to think-this sleeve will not be a rapid weight loss for folks like me who had a band for (2006-15!!), so WOW 9 years. Obviously my weightless was low, at 45 lbs, in the begining . Then once removed back to my weight of 250. Do you Ex-banders have as much success as the newbies? Thanks all! I’ve been creeping here for months, glad I finally signed in.

I had my first taste of guacamole today, pretty sure my tastebuds had a orgasm.

Ugh. MY SHOULDER STILL HURTS LIKE A MOFO. And I have to go to the medieval torture chamber tomorrow to start physical therapy.

ugh, insurance has decided that all of my post op blood work is NOT covered...what the heck?

Lost another 4 lbs, now I am only Class II obese!! I'm going to run out of clothes really soon, though. My pant size hasn't started changing a whole lot yet, just some of my larger pants have had to go. But my shirt size is changing very rapidly. I had thought I'd have more time with the tops, but no... I'm going to end up having to go shopping (gasp!) in the next couple of weeks to stay clothed at work!!

Manic Monday! What's on your plate? I've already emptied the dishwasher, thrown together a meat sauce for dinner, down two loads of laundy, and entered my calendar for the week. It's almost 7am and I am on the move!
