    Pain when having food

Take small sips. Fluids go right thru your system so it's unlikely to feel full. I don't think there's any concern about drinking too much (unless it's a high calorie drink).

    JULY surgery dates!

I kind of didn't follow the 2 week diet but still been drinking my protein and they say my B lvl for liver is high will it still be possible to get surgery or no? Sent from my XT1031 using the BariatricPal App This could be problematic for a safe surgery. I have heard that surgeon's have cancelled or stopped surgery if the liver has not shrunk. I'm also concerned that if you couldn't do pre-op diet - how are you going to stick to post-op diet? It's dangerous to go off plan.

    Just wondering!

What are you eating? Are you taking small sips/bites and chewing well?

    Pre-Op Fears

I have seen a few people have trouble stopping their weight loss - but usually they started out low and didn't have much to lose.

    Pre-Op Fears

@@NewAdventure2016 I definitely have Fear #1 but never even imagined #2. I have alot to lose and will be lucky to even get close to goal! Fears and doubts are very normal.
  8. Sorry for the duplicates - app is acting wonky
  9. You will probably need a ride home from hospital. Do you have a neighbor who you could ask - maybe they could check on you the first few days too. Would one of your children come for a few days? I'd rather be in the comfort of my own home rather than a motel. If you can't find anyone - maybe you could get a nursing aide to come in once a day to make sure you didn't need anything. Good luck!

No - its against regulations. They can give you a heat pack (chemical) but not a plugged in heating pad! Sent from my KFFOWI using the BariatricPal App

    Aetna 2 year weight history

Try contacting the Dept of Health - they may know how to get your records. Did you go to a specialist that may have recorded your weight? Before you go crazy - make sure you actually need the documentation. Sent from my KFFOWI using the BariatricPal App

    Bladder Issues? Anyone

If they switched antibiotics the culture may have come back insensitive to the one you were on. Give them a call if not better - sometimes you need longer treatment. Drink plenty of fluids. You can buy over the counter pain relief (AZO or Uristat) that help me a lot. If you take them - your pee is neon orange so don't freak out! Sent from my KFFOWI using the BariatricPal App

    A new life

Start off by going to a WLS Support Group. You would probably benefit from therapy too. You're very young and have your life in front of you - you can do whatever you want! Start a list of all the things you want to do and work on accomplishing them! Take it slow! If you enjoy reading - join a book club. Join an online group for something that interests you and meet people online first to break the ice and then maybe get involved in person. Be active - if you're all hiking or walking it's less anxiety inducing! Enjoy life!!! Sent from my KFFOWI using the BariatricPal App

    I hate people around me

Ask them if your middle finger looks thinner! You are less than a month postop - it's too soon to expect visible difference especially in pictures (and wearing different outfits)! Your 18lb loss is amazing - be happy! Sent from my KFFOWI using the BariatricPal App

    Bladder Issues? Anyone

I would speak to your surgeon. If you can't figure out what's going in - try a Urogynecologist. The catheter could have irritated your bladder. Have you tried pyridium for the pain? I have interstitial cystitis and have bladder infection like symptoms but culture always negative.
  24. You may not get a full feeling on purees - so don't eat until full or you'll overeat.
  25. Starting on week 4 - I'm allowed 3-4izs of puree every 3 hours (about 4-6 times a day. Before that it's only 1-2 ozs.
