  1. What about transfer adiction? That could be the case in some people. I can't drink that much. I'm 5 1/2 years post op and keeping my weight off. I do occasionally have a drink though. Cheers! Sent from my SM-G920V using the BariatricPal App

The case of the missing hairs...

I read at 5 months post op your body goes into shock and that's why you lose hair. My hair is still baby fine. It never came back like it was. I had to stop taking Biotin. I was growing hair on my face and pretty much everywhere! I hope you find answers. I'm 5 1/2 years post op. Sent from my SM-G920V using the BariatricPal App

    Introduction & Drug of Choice

I'm not a "sleever" but a Roux En Y "with Fobi" 5 1/2 years post op. Lost half my body weight and it's still off. (Thank Goodness) I took a close friend of mine for her sleeve surgery and she's a few years post op and is doing well. The only reason I didn't have the sleeve is because insurance wouldn't approve it. I'm sure you are going to learn a lot of good information from this group. This pre-op diet is gonna kill me.

I'm 5-1/2 years post op and STILL have the weight off. So, take my advice on this. As bad as this sucks, the "break down" stage (liquid diet, I could eat a shoe) is important. Try to focus on sticking with it because your brain will trick your body into thinking you are hungry after the surgery. The liquid stage is such an important step. It sounds crazy but the stage that I flipped out on was soft foods. I was frustrated by then! Hang in there. You will get there. Sent from my SM-G920V using the BariatricPal App
