Thanks. Yeah I'm sure I'm off it at least the first two weeks as its liquid but I don't think the dept that monitors my insulin/diabetes knows much about this. They weren't letting me drop my dose when I started having lows but I argued with them saying my surgeon wants me down to 1200 cals so I can't get there on so much insulin. Wow, I guess every Kaiser is different. I just graduated January 28th and I started in October. We did 12 classes so 3 months. Then psych eval, etc. they didn't require any sort of weight loss but they did recommend you try to lose 10% of your weight. I only lost 10 when I met with my surgeon but he still approved & said to try to drop a bit more (which I have) but that he would cancel my surgery if I gained. I took classes in Fontana.
