  1. It could be from both. You need to stick with your post-op diet so you avoid complications (more serious than a stomach ache). Please be careful!

You are right. I was thinking something that small wouldn't hurt or I could handle but you are right that it could lead to something more serious didn't really think that far. I guess I feel like I'm stronger than I am. But in reality idk how this new stomach operates fully yet. So I'm gonna chill and follow the rules. Thanks @@KristenLe

  2. You are absolutely right @@Cervidae and I have thought about all of this. Thank you for your motivation and advice.... I keep hearing rumbling and maybe I didn't explain what I'm feeling correctly. Whatever pain it is I just wanted to know how to get rid of it, or do I let it run its course. I guess it's like trapped gas that won't let up. I'm wondering could it be acid reflux related. I havent been taking my prilosec due to being afraid of it making me feel like I felt when I took my chewable bariatric Multivitamin the day after surgery (it felt near death)

  3. Ok so last night I decided to have some Soup 4 days post op, it was actually clam chowder and I went ahead ahead and had a bowl which is like half the can of Progresso. I consumed the entire bowl (potatoes and all) and made sure to chewed up everything finely. Then over night I had a stomach ache that appeared to be trapped gas, I took my gas drops this morning, along with some more hydro-codone (from the overnight sleeping aches I've been getting) and also tried to release some gas (sorry if TMI) and the pain still insist until now (the next day at 3:30). I know I'm already messing up, not draining the Soup but does anyone think this dull ache is from the full soup consumption or could it be due to the fact that I have yet to have a BM?

  4. Well after the operation you can use your own, but you probably won't even feel like grabbing your own til the next day when you are able to take a shower and stuff. Well at least that's how I felt. I was out of it until the next day. My surgery also ran kinda late. I finished around 6:30pm. So depending on what time your surgery is scheduled for you may be able to change ASAP if you want.

  5. So I'm using the implant as birth control, which causes me to have very little periods (maybe one or two periods of spotting a year) and I have not had a period this year yet, but my chooses to come the day before surgery! So I too was worried about how the surgeon and nurses would feel about it but it wasn't a big deal, they just gave me the hospital panties and pads, (you can't wear your own for the operation). When I went back to recovery and my room they did put down those blue pads on my bed, which made me feel like a puppy in training. lol but it was all good, I survived and you too will be fine!

  6. Ok, thanks yea I'm going try out the flavor enhancers and Decaf tea since those are the only choices I haven't tried post-op. It's just such a weird feeling. My husband thinks it's just the Water hitting the scars. I said it made me feel full but I'm not sure if that was the best description. Since I'm still trying to learn my new stomach. I guess I just gotta keep trying things to see which one fits. Thanks again @@Inner Surfer Girl

  7. Hey everyone, so I'm pretty much new to bariatricpal, (im 25 btw) and also 3 days post-op. I was wondering about this Water thing. When it comes to drinking Water it's making my stomach feel instantly full (I'm guessing is the best description) with every swallow, this doesn't happen with Protein shakes or broth, just only with water. This might be a silly question, but why is that? And do/did this happen to anyone else?
