  6. I appreciate everyones response. I have been trying the last 2 days, to eat more calories and protein. I still cant do a protein shake but im getting closer to 500 calories and about 30gs of protein.
  7. Lol im not sure a 238 lb woman is gunna be prescribed anything for anorexia! Im mildly flattered in the most sensitive way. I am just trying to figure out how to get more than that amount of calories with 3 meals a day, with the sleeve. I used to eat 1000 calories in a meal..
  8. Its very odd to change my thinking around this bc i hot my surgery so i cant eat too much, but now i have to eat more than i feel i am capable of. Lol
  9. Its not that i dont like food, but theres 3 meals a day and if i cut out the protein shake, theres just not enough protein or calories in it. For instance, today i had a half an egg for breakfast and a whole 5.3oz yogurt for lunch, which was way more than usual. Thats literally maybe 110 calories and 15gs of protein. I cant have some huge dinner..
  10. I do have the baby bell mini cheese as a meal, and yogurt yes. I have protein in my meals but there are only 3 meals and they are obviously very small.
  11. 1000 calories a day? That seems like a lot. Tomorrow is my 8 weeks since surgery. People say snacking is really bad for us, but thats the only way i could imagine having more calories. I was getting 500 a day bc of the shake. With the limited amount i can eat diring 3 meals a day, it is just not possible.
  12. Well i had mine done in mexico which doesnt have any follow up.
  13. I was sleeved 3/28. For the last week i have cut my calories in half. I was about 500 a day and now im around 200. I cut out my protein shake, which basically is all the protein i was getting. I got sick with a cold last week and since then i am just not hungry and i cant take more than a couple sips of the shake. The one good thing is that now my mouth is dry all the time so im getting all my fluids in. My weight loss has been back to a pound a day as well since i havent had the shakes. However, im obviously nervous that this is prob bad for my body and im not sure what could happen or what to do. Has anyone experienced this? Any support or help would be appreciated. Thank you.
  14. My wife and i both got it done at the same time. Its the only way it could work for us and its been great

  17. I had a stall for about a week. I got out of it and have been back to losing daily. I realized that last week i was drinking the low cal gatorades all week. I never logged them as i didnt really think of em as anything.. 17gs of sugar and 17 carbs!!! So yeah, no more of those for me and ive been great.
  18. My friend was the one who went into cardiac arrest and a coma after being given a antibiotic not used in the United States . She has since passed away as of two months ago. So yes there is a death related to Dr Almanez. I'm so glad your friend is doing amazing. I'm so sorry my friend had to die trying to get healthy. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App Yes, it is very well known that dr almanza has had several fatalities.. if they say its a lie then im more scared for their patients!! All you have to do is google him

  22. Ive been full since surgery amd its pure hell.. trust me, stick with measuring! One bite more sends us over the edge
  23. I have done better yesterday and today. Before that I was nauseated all the time and I know I was way low on protein and Fluid because I didn't feel like eating or drinking. I'm still trying to figure out my protein measurements. A little tuna, refried Beans, lunch meat, cottage cheese, yogurt. Trying to figure out how much protein in each little serving is difficult. Sent from my LG-H811 using the BariatricPal App I log all my food in the app myfitnesspal. Itll help you see how much youre actually eating.
  24. I am 50 obs down today and funny enough, 3 different people mentioned my weight loss. Its funny because no one has really said anything until today..its funny how that happens. So for those of you waiting for others to take notice, itll happen!
