  1. I am 16 months post op but I can eat anything. Normally when I don't have a lot of time in the morning I eat a nature valley bar and a banana (with about 30 minutes in between) if I have time I do boiled egg with slice of toast with Peanut Butter. Of I'm being lazy I get a egg mcmuffin and eat half. Save the other half for the next day. On the weekends I make kodiac pancakes (high on protein) what I have learned about my stomach is that I can eat a full healthy meal in intervals. Remember you are eating way less regardless and will be fine. But I need your Protein and nutritions. I lost too much weight and finally am back to where I want to be. It's easy to forget that we have to eat healthy as much as possible. I love junk food and candy and I do not deprive myself from anything, however o eat so much healthier now than I ever did because if I don't my body feels weak and I look and feel sickly. Good Luck

  2. I had my sleeve 03/06/2016. For the past few weeks ( since Thanksgiving) I have been eating more than 4-6 ounces. Sometimes I only eat a little bit and other times I can eat a lot. Is it possible I already stretched my stomach? I also have not lost any weight since August. (I am up 1-3 lbs every day) but no real since my 6 month mark. I loss 70 lbs in 6 months so far. Well anyway, my question is is this normal and is it possible to stretch you stomach in such a small time frame? One thing I have to admit I never stopped eating and drinking at the same time. I just can't eat without washing my food down.

  3. Ooh Marie, I am so sorry you feel so bad. I am 11 days post-op and by day 4 I felt 100% better and different. It will get better and you will love your sleeve! At first I was pushing myself with Protein drinks and Water until someone on here suggested Isoplure. In drinking that it kinda covers both. ( still have to try your Water intake) I don't understand not getting pain meds after a major surgery and if I could I would bring you mine lol..

Good luck and I will keep you in my prayers....

There is even a small trace of blood I the urine that I am able to pass. The DR proscribed some meds so unsure I will work I a few days but just wanted to let you guy know drink your Water....

Other that, my pouch is doing just fine and I'm feeling pretty good.

Haves wonderful rest of the day!

  5. Ibuprofen is def not good post op for any surgery! They should wrote you a script for a liquid pain med. and liquid Tylenol works good too.. Anyway, I'm 10 day post op today and am feeling pretty good! Just wait what one week will do wonders of resting and taking it easy and try to sip as much as you can! I can now do about 1 oz at a time for Soup and Protein... It will get better!!

    Good luck

  6. I don't think what your eating has anything to do with your stall.. It's way better than what you were eating before ( that how we all got to where we were needed this surgeryto begin with ,right?)

I am only on day10 and can't wait to eat but after researching about this for a while it's best not to hurry to leave the full liquid stage for your stomach staples haven't completely healed yet and pieces of food could get stuck and cause you issues/infections!
