  1. For all of the newbies who are wondering if they will ever reach their weightloss goals: "Everyone who got where he is, had to begin where he was."

  2. What you eat in private, you wear in public.

  3. Know your self worth. Make sure you only deal with those who can afford you.

  4. Before criticizing someone, walk a mile in their shows. That way when you do criticize them, you'll be a mile away and have their shoes. :)

  5. @dramastar: I have lost about 125 lbs. I had my surgery in February of 2008.

  6. Nothing is fool proof to a sufficiently talented fool.

  7. Nothing is fool proof to a sufficiently talented fool.

  8. Look, Mr. Ben & Jerry, I am *not* that type of girl anymore. I don't care how delicious your propositions are, you are not coming home with me tonight. The relationship that we had was unhealthy and I have moved on. I'm leaving now because I don't want to cause a scene. (Lol. I had a public fall-out with Ben & Jerry icecream in Walmart today.)

  9. Old Way of Thinking: I hate exercise because I hate to sweat. New way of thinking: I don't sweat. I form "condensation". When the hotness radiating from my sexy self encounters the much colder air of the room condensation forms on my skin. It's simple science look it up. (it's all about how you look at things people. This year I have to change how I view myself and my excuses.)

  10. Dear Mr. Bathroom Scale: I see that my assasins have failed. You are regretably still alive and well this morning.

  11. Dear Mr. Bathroom Scale: I don't have enough middle fingers to expressed how I felt about you this morning.

  12. Calories (noun): Tiny, malicious creatures that live in your closet and sew your clothes a little tighter every night while you sleep.

  13. Have you ever woke up half dressed on your bed or couch and entered a brief but intense state of panic because for a hot moment you can't remember if you fell asleep getting undressed after coming home from work or if you fell asleep while getting dressed to go to work? No?? Uhm..then me neither. Forget that I brought it up.

  14. My dieting/exercising quote for the day: "I've got a philosophy about exercise. I don't think you should punish your legs for something your mouth did." --Author Unknown

  15. First of all, this is NOT a post of a big girl hating on "skinny" jeans. What I saw today just..just...it was just... Could somebody please tell me why huge, grown a** men, that are as tall and as muscular as Clydesdale stallions find it appropriate to wear super, ultra, mega, skinny jeans? Those things fit most of these men like a pair of stockings. They know damn well that is is gonna take a box cutter, two seam-rippers, a shoe horn, and some WD40 to get them out of those jeans wh...

  16. Dear T&A Fairy: I know you exist because you gifted me both T&A a looong time ago and then, to my regret, took most of the "T" and some of the "A" back when I started losing weight. Could you please tell your evil twin the T&B ( thighs & belly) fairy that she is welcome to visit...at any time... and take back her contributions too?

  17. I may not be who I want to be (yet), but at least I'm not who I once was. " Today is a day that I have to get weighed. I know I've gained at least 4 lbs. I'm mad at myself, because I should have gotten a fill a month ago. I'm trying to dwell on the progress I've made and not let myself get into a cycle of defeat. After I'm done crying like a baby, I gotta get back on track.

  18. Do not worry about people talking "behind your back", it just means that you are one step ahead of them, and they are exactly in the right location to kiss your ass!

  19.  My personal analogy for today:  drugs are to track marks as ice-cream is to cellulite.  Thank God icecream doesnt leave track marks. Gotta get this last  30-40lbs off of me.  Beginning Monday: Doing  Kettlebells for weight training and Leslie Sansone's inter/adv workouts for aerobics.  Slowly weaning myself off my ice-cream habit.

  20.  Change usually comes when it hurts so much that you have to change, when you learn so much that you want to change, and when you receive so much that you welcome change.

  21. YAY to your revision!! You'll be back to where you want to be in no time. I'm excited for you.

  22. How are things going? I hope that the bumps in the road are getting smaller. You have been such an inspiration to so many. I know that you will pull through and get back to the place you want to be.
