  1. Do you wish you had the gastric bypass instead of the sleeve? Right now, I'm thinking I should have. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using BariatricPal mobile app
  2. I feel your pain with the stress. I go back to work next week and I'm dreading it. I hope the soups does the trick. If not, the break is on the way. [emoji4] Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using BariatricPal mobile app
  3. I understand. It may seem like their not interested in your results, but, stick with your plan and go back to broths for a few days I guess. It will all work out. Maybe go to your nutritionist and maybe reevaluate your levels of stress. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using BariatricPal mobile app
  4. Doesn't seem bad. I'm right behind you at 5 weeks. I had stall for 2 weeks and then it broke. So, maybe you're at a point where it stalls and will break again. I thought the honeymoon stage ends around 6 months. What does your surgeon and nutritionist say? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using BariatricPal mobile app
  5. I hope it wasn't a heart attack. Also, no worries about your insurance running out. You can always request an extension. They gave me 6+months extension. I was supposed to have my surgery in February this year, but I pushed it back to September. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using BariatricPal mobile app
  6. Congratulations! Can you use miralax? That works for me and there's no pain or strain.[emoji2] Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using BariatricPal mobile app

  9. Yeap! I'm still doing that. It just seems like I'm on the strictest diet post op known to man. I haven't had anything mushy and I will be starting that tomorrow at week 5. So, I'm overly excited to have something more than broth and cream soup. And, I still get my 60 grams of protein and drinking water as required. [emoji2] I don't get to have regular food until week 9. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using BariatricPal mobile app
  10. I feel the same way. I go to puree stage tomorrow. I'm ready for refried beans! Or any mushy foods for that matter. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using BariatricPal mobile app

  12. Sorry, I meant to say the California roll with avocado and crabmeat. [emoji21] I don't eat raw meat of any kind. But, I guess that's still a no. Hmm, could I blend it. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using BariatricPal mobile app
  13. Can I have sushi wrapped with brown rice at the puree stage? I start puree diet tomorrow! I can't wait! It has been a gruelling long 6 weeks. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using BariatricPal mobile app

  16. It will break soon. I finally saw the scale move a little bit today. I was at 218 for week 3 and mid toward end of week 4. Now, I'm at 215 while ending week 4. Starting week 5 on Saturday I think. Btw, I didn't do anything special. I was losing some inches during that time as well. Just stayed the course exercise and sipping what was on the plan which was miniscule. [emoji2] Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using BariatricPal mobile app
  17. Lol, I've been craving the refried beans, with cheese, taco seasoning, sour cream. Yum! I can't wait until Saturday. That's when I'm going to start the mushy stuff. Ohh the agony of waiting! [emoji21] Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using BariatricPal mobile app

  20. I might be getting delirious from how much I'm not eating, but, I had surgery on September 8th. I went home September 9th. Am I ending my 4th week this week and starting my 5th week on Saturday? I'm so ready for puree stage I don't know what to do. I think I'm losing it! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using BariatricPal mobile app

  22. I know you're in Iowa, but have you tried Dr. Nowazaradan in Texas. He has plenty of success stories? Or, go to the 400+group to get their take. I'm rooting for you! It's not hopeless. May be the hospital can do an inpatient for you to help you with your goal. But you can do it! [emoji2] Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using BariatricPal mobile app
  23. Yeah, I kinda blew past the milk stage. That part was hard cuz I couldn't hold any of it down. It will get better though. I have 6 days to puree. I can't wait! [emoji2] Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using BariatricPal mobile app
  24. I took a ppi/pepcid and it dramatically curbed my appetite. I don't feel hungry all of the time. I still get my protein and 32 Oz of water. I'm in week 4 post op. I will start the puree stage on Saturday. I can't wait! [emoji2] Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using BariatricPal mobile app
