  1. Thank you. I’ll try to stop worrying about it.
  2. I’m almost 12 weeks out and don’t feel restricted. Is this normal? I don’t really eat a lot but I noticed when I drink water. I used to sip, but now I drink and wait to feel restriction and nothing gives me the tightness. Well, I take that back. When I eat applesauce that’s when I feel the sleeve. I can eat a little chicken and don’t feel the restriction at all.
  3. Congratulations on your progress!

  5. Thank you! I did feel discouraged after he told me to lose the weight by 12/7. My body is different. I lost 30lbs the first 6 weeks and barely anything else going into my second 6 weeks. Smh Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using BariatricPal mobile app

  9. Thanks for the encouragement. I will stay the course. Are you able to eat salad? Or are you just doing protein shakes and broth? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using BariatricPal mobile app
  10. That will be insane if they denied you. Nearly half of all people has had some type of surgery. Geez! I hope you get approved. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using BariatricPal mobile app
  11. I'm a little stressed out because my doctor says I need to loose 20 lbs by 12/7. I was sleeved 10/8. Smh. Stupid PCOS is messing me up. I've been at 209 for 3 weeks. Smh, Just blowing off steam. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using BariatricPal mobile app
  12. You will be just fine. Just trust and believe you have made the right decision. I never knew anyone personally who had the surgery. I researched for a year and then, I went through the steps. I prayed about it and I didn't hear a No, so, I kept going. Next thing I know, I was in surgery and all was well. I'm almost 9 weeks out and haven't been a size 16 in 9 years. Haven't weighed 209 in 9 years. So, I understand how you feel, just trust the process and know you have the best surgeon's in your area. I'm rooting for you! 13. This also depends on other things. I have PCOS, and I'm stalled again and I'm 8 weeks out. I stall more often than most. I've been at 209 for 2 weeks. But, I'll start losing again. I just have to believe it will and stop getting on the scale. Doctor says I need to lose 20 more lbs by Dec. 7. But, the good thing is I'm losing inches while I stall. I wear an XL shirt. And 16W pants. 14 dress. I used to wear a 3x shirt. 3x pants size 24 pants HW 242 SW 237 CW 209 Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using BariatricPal mobile app

  15. I can eat with no problem except for packaged tuna, chicken, and salmon. It tastes gross. As far as I know, the bypass will make you sick if you eat junk. Sometimes, I think I should have had the bypass. I'm 7 weeks out and lost 30 lbs. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using BariatricPal mobile app

  18. I am 6 weeks post op. I was diagnosed with PCOS last year. I have at least 2 cycles a month. I stopped taking 500 mg of metformin the day before surgery. I lost 30 lbs so far. I suffer from mood swings, unpredictable cycles, hair on upper lip, hormone imbalance. I'm on my cycle now and I feel the urge to eat all day even when I have this restriction. 22. This is interesting. I didn't know a sleeve revision could be done. Sorry this happened. Maybe you are just stalled? Could you have done a sleeve to bypass? What did your surgeon say? Hopefully, the weightloss will start again. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using BariatricPal mobile app
  23. Thanks! I hope my cravings change. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using BariatricPal mobile app
  24. Has anyone thought they should have gotten the bypass over the sleeve? I'm thinking I should have because I'm afraid to crave carbs again. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using BariatricPal mobile app
