  1. Why so nervous? Or is it excitement? ????
  2. Hi there, You Will be fine. I'm guessing you have co-morbidities.
  3. Congratulations! You're in the home stretch.
  4. Thank God for TanishaP, I pray she has a smoothe surgery and all will be well with her after the surgery. Amen! Congratulations and I look to hear from you soon.

  7. I can be your friend, 2! ????????
  8. Thanks for sharing linseeka, you look awesome !
  9. Lol @ tiny font. I'm guessing they do look at each visit. But, only concentrate on where you start, and where you end on the diet visits Just my thoughts.
  10. @@Natalina, I feel the same way as you. I just found this out yesterday. Not only that, just as I am losing weight, now they tell me i need to gain weight so I can qualify. I started out at 240, now im 222. I need to be back at 240 by February. I don't know what to do because I have BCBS too and my insurance at work is going up. My deductible is 100% after a 3800 deductible is met. My surgery is not until February, but I'm not going to have that money by then. I'm not sure how I'm going to do it either. Do a Google search on getting a Bariatric surgery loan. I guess.
  11. @julfit, I'm sorry to hear about your motorcycle accident. I was just like you a few months ago. I'm still fighting this battle, but, I prayed really hard, I stay busy, I have a counselor or friend who will listen, and I made small goals. I was an emotional and binge eater. You can do this! Start small and grow. You can beat this problem area. Also, imagine being smaller and doing things you couldn't do before or things you used to do and want to do again. It sounds cliché, but it's the truth and it worked for me. You can do it!
  12. No worries @@jen31378, They go by your starting weight.
  13. Good, you're on your way! I had to pay for my psych evaluation, too.
  14. Oh, thanks ladies! I went to the surgeon's office yesterday and he told me it may get scheduled in Feb. 2017 since my final 6 month visit will be in Jan. I'm excited!
  15. I bought a 32 oz bottle from Publix and drink 32oz while at work and another 32oz when I get home.
  16. @@rolosmom7, I would advise to get to a hospital or go to a good GYN doctor who specializes in endometriosis. I hope you find answers soon. Please keep us posted. I can only imagine the kind of pain you're in. Best of luck in getting this resolved.
  17. Hi, I'm 3months into my nutritional visits, and wondering when I can get my surgery date? I have 3 more visits to go. I have already done my psych visit. And the surgeon said I can do all my labs a day or two before surgery. I thought I have to do the labs before I could get approval. I have BCBS of Michigan through my Michigan based employer and I live in Georgia. Thanks everyone! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using the BariatricPal App
  18. @@mylastchance21, That is awesome! I know this post is for UHC, I just couldn't help to read more. I hope BCBS does that for me. I'm in month 3 of nutritional visits. :-) Best of luck to you @@erica2185! You're definitely a candidate.
  19. @@kblanc, Congrats on your upcoming surgery! Praying that all goes well for you and others. I drink premier Protein shakes daily. I like all flavors except bananas and cream. How many pre-op visits did you have to do?
  20. Good job, on losing 41 lbs. Ttyl after the surgery @@MindyMe
