Lulu_lulu got a reaction from M@E in 10 months post op - ask me questions
    Hi everyone
I'm 10 months post op gastric sleeve. Had mine at KCM Poland. Best thing I've ever done in my life. Could not be anymore happier.
Anyways, it wasn't an easy journey and I know how it feels like to need support along the way so if there's anything I can help with/answer. Please, go ahead and ask me. :-)

    Hi
I used to live in Essex but had my surgery in Poland.
Don't worry about it at all. It will be painless. You'll feel a bit tired a few days after but that's all okay and with the support of your closed ones, believe me you'll be fine and by the end of the month, you'll thank yourself for having made what will be, the best decision in your life! :-)
All the best with your surgery.

Hahahaha! My God...the number of ugly colored clothes I have thrown away are unbelievable! I'm so happy knowing that I don't need to buy ugly clothes anymore just because they fit and knowing that I have a choice to create my own style! :-)
I'm so happy for these triumphs that we made! It really feels great! :-)
    Keep going hard, Rosie! ????

I threw a huge bag today full of baggy clothes that are too big for me!
I was also shocked that I was able to fit perfectly in a size 16 jeans!
I'm so proud of myself of doing the surgery abroad by myself while also working on my master's dissertation!
I'm also proud that I still didn't give in all the terrible chocolate and junk food temptations!

You remind me of myself a few weeks ago. I was so depressed. Crying all day and staying in my friend's bed regretting the surgery. She used to tell me that it's all mental and in my mind and I'm like this because I'm depressed but I didn't know how to fix that. Eventually, changing the place I'm in had cured it for me.
It will pass. You'll be fine. Walk as much as you can. It really does help.

From my experience: manage to drink at least two liters of Water a day. Finish your Protein drinks. Aim to reach at least 40-60 grand of Protein a day. Protein will give you energy and won't make you feel tired.
Another thing that has helped me is Tuc biscuits. I chew them very well and swallow them. After only two, I feel full and energised. They're just normal biscuits with salt. I found that the salt is good if you feel dizzy.
The other important thing is Vitamins.
I had a major depression after my surgery and I only felt better when I have moved out of my ugly residence (in campus) to my spacious and comfortable friend's home.

Ahhhh Rosie! I can't wait! I'm already losing a few kilos and it feels great : )
Will go to tesco and buy jelly and creamed Soup and almond milk.
And I'll probably see my GP on Tuesday.
I'll also change the dressing either today or tomorrow.
How do you shower without wetting your incisions? I know it's ok if the dressing gets wet and then I'll only have to dry it and change it but I'm being overly cautious!

I tried to stay awake and not faint but I couldn't and as I was alone and the way home is around 5 hours I went to buy the least sugar content juice which was orange juice and drank little. It was very sweet but at least I stopped feeling dizzy and was able to walk and carry my bag.
Now IM HOME SWEET HOME!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ back to the UK! I swear ever since I stepped into the Uk I've been smiling! Feeling good now!

You know how you know you're obese but picture it differently in your mind then your friends take videos of you and you're shocked of how you look and like 'omg, am I really that obese...'

I still didn't have surgery. But obesity runs in my family and more than ten members in my family have undergone the surgery and they are all doing well now. Sure, willpower is needed and you should be committed to follow a healthy lifestyle but you WILL loose A LOT of weight and won't be obese anymore so don't worry about it. The surgery and your small stomach will motivate you and make it easier to abide by a healthy lifestyle.

It's day 4 today and I AM DYING! I NEED chocolate so bad I'm actually crying! But I tried hard the past 3 days and I don't want to ruin it.
The thing is, I'm used to eating lots of chocolate to do my assignments and now I can't do this one. Deadline is less than a week and I didn't even start and its sooo hard to start. All I think about is that I need chocolate to concentrate and do all!
This is hell I swear. It's very painful and a lot. I'm convinced of the importance of a pre-op diet but I feel any minute now I will break down and go buy lots of chocolate and junk.

On the other hand, I feel great today and I've been able to work on my assignment without junk food and chocolate! So yeah it's true that everything starts hard at the beginning then it gets easier! ️
