How did your significant other handle your weight loss?
My husband has been awesome. He had had moments were he felt that with me losing weight that if want to lose him also but that surely want the case. I met him when I weighted 150lbs then ballooned to 345lbs now after surgery so far down to 214lbs. Still going strong with him 18yrs later. Sent from my Z981 using BariatricPal mobile app

Am I being crazy?
Don't worry time will fly by and do will the pounds. Follow your provider's instructions and workout and you'll do great. Don't compare yourself to others we are all different and don't start from the same place, the higher your BMI the faster you lose initially usually. Focus on being the best you you can be and you'll never fail. Sent from my Z981 using BariatricPal mobile app

Sleeved on 3-6-17 have not had a bowel movement since. Have tried miralax for 2 days and today milk of magnesia. Still no luck. Should I be worried about this or does anyone have any ideas how I can get things moving.
I was sleeved on 04/11/16 and still have issued with constipation following my surgery. Never had an issue prior. Now I use laxatives to help me go. Sent from my Z981 using BariatricPal mobile app

How long was your hospital stay?
My surgery was a day surgery so I was home by 2:30 the same day. I took a entire week off. I don't think that I needed the entire week being that by day 5 I was out fishing. I certainly wasnt at 100% but I was good. Sent from my LGMS631 using the BariatricPal App

URGERNT HELP NEEDED
I was sleeved on 4/11/16 so I might be jumping the gun. I am now 13 days post surgery. The first week I lost 13lbs. And Then on day 9 l woke up and the scale said I had gained 4 lbs. This was the same time that I was finally able to get down my 64 ozs of Water and my 60 grams of protien. This week I feel great and have been active walking and bike riding. I've stuck to my liquid diet and made sure not to drink my calories. I've been a model patient and im confused. Does anyone have a similar experience or any insite to offer. Im beyond confused. I have my 2 week appt Monday and am nervous my doctor will think I've cheated. Sent from my LGMS631 using the BariatricPal App

Starting liquid diet tomorrow, any tips?
Im on day 7 of the 21/days I have to do and our is by far more mentally tough than physical. My first couple of days were extreme. Ask i could do was think about eating. And that passed. I still think of eating but I don't obsesss on it. I was super excited when I saw the scale decrease. I am able to be around others eating as off day 6 and I make myself because now that we have gotten to this point, its our life permanently. So im practicing discipline and so far so good. Im keeping myself mindful and accountable. Sent from my LGMS631 using the BariatricPal App

Day Surgery?!?
My surgery is 4/11 and I'll be going home the same day. I've discussed this with the physician and feel comfortable. Now if there are any complications they will keep you. He had explained that there are many surgeries that are done the very same way and of no complications there is no need. You'll have you're prescriptions prior to and can get your rest and walk to pass the gas. Sent from my LGMS631 using the BariatricPal App
