Hello yall! I am at the absolute beginning of my journey. I am 40, mother, wife and fat girl! My top weight was 298! Geez Louise that's alot! I currently weigh 296 not much better but hey I have a long road ahead. I have chosen VSG and have made my first appt with a Center for Excellence Bariatric facility here in town. I am looking for friends who are also at the beginning so we can be sleeved sisters that can support one another on this journey! Thanks for the support! I have just started and have many insurance hoops to jump through! The first of which is the 6 month Dr supervised weight loss plan! That's gonna be rough! Hi! I have to jump through many hoops as well for my insurance. 6 months of Dr supervised weight loss plan, numerous health scans and bloodwork. But luckily the center that is doing my surgery is willing to walk through each step with me to ensure I meet all the requirements. I wish you the best of luck as well.
