Havent made a post in a while well i had surgery Aug. 3,2016 my highest weight was 307 today is October 8,2016 i weighed in at 259 not to bad i dont think.....sometimes when i look in the mirror i see a difference and then there are times im like i dont see any improvements has this happened to anyone else now before

Well on Friday I had my barium swallow test done it was good and i was able to move to the puree stage....oh yeah I lost 11pounds was very excited!!

Finally had surgery 8/3 in alot of pain but today I get to get out of and walk around I also start my liquids today...yay

Had my Preop appointment yesterday so im starting a 1400 calorie diet....has anyone else had to do this one....hopefully I will get through this

Just curious did anyone or everyone have this done and how was it??

it only took mines a week after it was submitted....the insurance lady called and said I see you are scheduled for surgery...I almost passed out...lol

How long until you guys submitted stuff til you got insurance approval? My last appt is next Friday!! So I'm trying to estimate time it will take to get approval & surgery date....

Mine was submitted on June 23 and approved on June 24, the very next day. But, I didn't find out until today when I called the insurance myself because they hadn't sent the notification to the surgeon yet. But, I think 7-10 days is average from the other posts I have read.

I go July 20 for pre op and surgery is August 3

Congrats! Your date is coming up quick! I go 7/21 for my pre-op testing and will receive my surgery date after that. They told me it will likely be in August...I can't wait!

I just had my pre-op appointment with my surgeon and I got a date!! August 2, 2016!!
I'm sooo excited! I'm wondering if there are any others having bypass on or around this date?! I need friends!!

I am so excited and nervous all at the same time...I have a few questions should I go ahead and buy my Protein Shakes, what should I bring to the hospital how long is the hospital stay...... everyday I'm just thinking about my upcoming surgery!!!

I wanted to know how was the process with this insurance it is Medicaid....hoping when it is time for them to submit my paperwork I will get Approved

Just was wondering how was the process going through Molina Insurance....im just worried when its time to submit my paperwork I wont get Approved.
